Q: I know I want to ask you a question about this product I have a base radio icon model 2230 dual Ban wanted to know if this antenna makes the product?

If I understand your question you want to know whether or not this antenna will work with your ICOM. This product is ONLY the antenna mount and DOES NOT include an antenna. That has to be purchased separately. The PL-259 connector will mate to the SO-239 connector on your 2230 (2730?). Having said that this magnetic mount has a light duty magnet and should only be used with shorter and lighter NMO mount antennas, something along the lines of a 14 to 20 inch whip. Anything taller and heavier will make it topple over when traveling at highway speeds. An antenna such as the TRAM 1181 is dual band capable but only 18 inches tall. I probably wouldn't go any taller than this. This particular mount looks well made and is perfect for the 14 inch whip antenna that I bought it for.
