Vornado633 Room Ventilator, Black (EU Plug)

Fans in general are really underrated. This fan is fairly quiet on the lowest setting. I have slept many nights with it on, works really well. I never really leave reviews but definitely worth recommending this one. Spent ages looking through different fans that claimed to be effective and 'whisper quiet'. This one is VERY effective at sending a breeze to the other side of a room AND you can sleep with it on.Well worth the price.

This small fan has astonishing power. It sits on the floor in my art gallery and has made an amazing difference in this hot and humid weather. I share a much larger space with another company in a converted textile mill and my little fan cools them down also. Yes noisy on the highest setting but frankly when it is 27 degrees in the UK, I really don't care. I want my clients and myself to be cool and this fan does the job. Highly recommended.

Best fan I bought, I know its a bit pricey but well worth the money, used this in our bedroom on number 1 only and it was like I have a big fan, circulates the air 8n the room, very good specially with a 30 degrees weather .

Bought fan to use in the bedroom during the last hot weather. Quiet in use and did help to cool the room. Only negative comment I have is the on / off fan selector switch is off - full speed - medium speed - low speed. Would have expected the switch to go from low speed to high speed. To turn it off you have to flick through the higher speeds before the off switch.

It does the job, but even on "1" it's noisy for the bedroom

Bought to keep me cool at night and is almost silent on the slowest speed and perfect for the job. The highest setting is powerful and good for shifting large volumes of air but it does make some noise on this setting.

I bought this through Amazon UK, and my understanding is that it therefore needs to be supplied with a UK plug (or an enclosed adapter to the EU plug). It was not. I contacted Vornado Customer Service, as per the instructions, through the three email addresses given in the US, France and Germany. US customer services responded to me twice saying this was nothing to do with them as it was not sold in the US. Neither France nor Germany responded to any of my three messages. Somewhat surprising considering the box states in large lettering “We expect this product to be perfect. if it is not, we will make it right.”. I am not even sure it is legal to sell a product with an EU plug in the UK.

After getting a Dyson pure cool tower earlier this year, which we weren’t terribly impressed with in terms of its cooling performance, we decided to try the Vornado 633 after a word of mouth recommendation. And boy was it worth it. For a fraction of the price of the Dyson, it provides better cooling performance and is much smaller and discrete in size.The main downside is the low/medium/high power settings, which prompted us to get a 6303 as our second Vornado fan.
