We originally purchased our wine fridge in August of 2018 and used it as a standalone for several years of reliable service. It looked great and maintained temperatures in the separate compartments well. It was a little bit noisy, but nothing that really interferred with TV or conversation (it was in our living room).We recently remodeled our kitchen and created a space to use the fridge as a built in. Unfortunately, after a couple of weeks in the new location we noticed that it was running continuously and not cooling. We had a service technician look at it, who determined it was not repairable.Disappointed that we had just created a space for this fridge and now were without one, we first checked with Kalamera to see what options might be availabe. Even though it had been 6 years since our purchase, they offered a 50% discount on a new fridge. We were very pleased with this offer and were happy that we'd be able to keep the same fridge. The new fridge is working great, is much quieter than the original (we have to strain to hear this fridge running), and has all the same great features of the original.

Our existing under counter wine cooler was over 20 years old and constantly iced up and needed to be defrosted. This new Kalamera wine cooler was the perfect size to fit into the existing space and appeared to be a great value. It is a definite improvement over the new unit in many ways. It was a dual zone control for both white and red wines. The temperature selection is easy. The shelves pull out easily and can hold 8 standard size 750ML bottles. The blue LED light is a nice feature. It runs very quietly and is hard to detect that it is even running. It holds the temperatures well and has a quality, upscale look that looks great in our kitchen.

I love the frig dual zone. Keeps reds and whites at their correct temperature. I love the slick design.A few cons are that rack are wood (that part is great) but they don't slide smoothly. May need to lubricate. Also slats are spaced in such a way that seems to not allow bottles to be placed evenly. Especially noticeable with chardonnays and pinot noir bottles. Because of this we could not insert 48 bottles. Spacing needs to be redesigned.

Purchased a few days ago, I installed it (plug in), everything looks good and runs well! I believe most of these mini fridges are the same, except for size or number of bottles. My experience was good and I find the price is quite competitive; this one was half the price of one I purchased through an appliance store years ago and it lasted a little over 5 years; not a great result. I didn't realize Amazon could deliver items that weighed over 100 lbs but mine was delivered the next day with Prime delivery, on a pallet, packaged well and with no damage. Hopefully, my long term experience will be just as good!

Delivery and installation went very smooth. Very strong packaging for protection. Main concern was noise level since it is near the family room. Fortunately, the unit is very quiet. Like the space proportion for the bottles - racks are easy to pullout. Dual temp is reasonably accurate. The only observation of concern, although a minor concern, is the unit does seem to run for longer periods of time. Unlike our refrigerator which runs in shorter timeframe and then shuts off, the wine cooler seems to run for longer periods of time - although fairly quite - shuts off and then runs again. Perhaps this is to keep a more constant circulation of air for cooling. That said, this seems to be a minor issue and overall, we really like the unit especially at the price and free delivery.

This thing SUCKS. It failed completely within two years of purchase, Bad compressor. That cost another $99.00 to determine. No customer service whatsoever. More than one year from purchase and therefroe not covered by the warranty, do not bother calling. Took it to the dump and smashed it with a sledge hammer. And thanks to the usually reliable Consumer Reports for giving this piece of junk a decent rating. Buy an ice bucket instead, it would probably work longer than this so called wine cooler. This site forced me to give it at least a raring of one. My rating is actually -100

The refrigerator looks great in my new kitchen and I love having the two zones. I had no complaints with the noise. The best part of the product was the customer service. When I had an issue, I emailed them and they were easy to work with until the issue was resolved. The manufacturer stands behind the product.

Becoming very noisy after a year. Pulled it out, emptied it and tightened up any loose screws along inside back, none were loose, but two were stripped. Inside back is single thin sheet of metal and if I hold it the noise goes down a little. Took the outside lower back off to see if anything was loose. One leg bolt wasn’t quite down all the way. Rechecked to make sure it’s level. Nothing else was loose. Still making noise with everything out of it. Disappointing, not sure how much noisier it will get over the next year. First year it was perfect, now it’s very noisy.It keeps everything cold, but the noise is too much. I’ll contact them and see what if anything can be done. Nice unit. Would be a 5 star if the noise hadn’t started.
