How can I get extra removable ice basket?

Can the drain line be hard piped with pvc pipe, and is it gravity or pump? Also, how often does it need to be drained?

This one has a drain pump and it works perfectly. It drains as needed automatically. I have mine draining into a utility sink in the laundry room. I don't see why you couldn't hard pipe it if you had the proper fittings. This freezer is amazing and I highly recommend it. I use mine for my son's baseball tournaments and for large gatherings.
