Fit like a glove and couldn't have been easier to install
I was nervous about this purchase after reading so many reviews about a problem of fit, but I took a chance and bought an Aqua Crest three-pack yesterday. Upon arrival today I attempted to install the product immediately so I could return it if there was a fit problem – I had no such problem. It took about 30 seconds to remove the OEM InSinkErator F-1000 filter ("Emerson Commercial and Residential Solutions" and "Replacement Cartridge for F1000S System using InSinkErator head" printed on cartridge) and replace it with the AquaCrest product (Model AQU-WF03-F1). I have no opinion yet about its effectiveness, but installation was as easy as pie and the water ran clear from my two-year-old InstaHot (hot and cold taps) after about 2½ minutes of running water through it. I placed towels under the cartridge to catch any dripping water, but there was none so long as I held the replaced cartridge upright. I'll try to remember to return to this review after a couple of months regarding any taste in the filtered water.
