I purchased this Instant Hot water tank to replace the older model that I had. I will say that my Govee water leak detector saved the day. The old unit sprung a leak after 6 years of faithful service, and I was instantly notified if the leak. Could have been a disaster. I called Insinkerator to find out the replacement model. Fortunately Prime Day was just around the corner and as luck would have it this went on sale. Replacement was easy. I didn't even have to place new screws to hang it on. All the connections were the same. I did have to replace the water line connection, but overall was simple. It works perfect with my old water filter and faucet. Very pleased.

Unit is easy to install. Seems to fail at the 4 year mark consistently but it is the only unit to fir in my space. Works like a charm and my EU friends love their hot tea when they visit. Worth every cent!

This is a replacement for one that a lightning strike took out. We had that one professionally installed, and I figured this would be easy for my husband and myself to do. Shockingly it was it took us about 15 minutes to install. The hardest part was disconnecting the old one. It stays heated. I keep it at what the factory had it set to, but could increase the heat. It’s quiet. It’s instant. I purchased an electric Kettle and although it did a good job, it was another electric appliance I had on my countertop, which I don’t like. I was happy to have my under counter hot water back.

Buyers beware! Insinkerator may make good garbage disposals, but our hot water dispenser only lasted six years. Warranty is only for three years. Apparently, we are lucky because other people in reviews said that they had to replace theirs every 4 to 5 years. Ours was leaking from the plastic- encased, welded-stainless steel water tank itself. The exterior is not sealed and had separated a bit. However, owners are instructed to never open the casing. Obviously they're faulty. (They're made in China.) It ruined my cabinet and probably ruined my hardwood floor underneath, that I can't see. We only decided to purchase it again because it's less expensive than to try a new brand whose faucet would fit the hole in our quartzite countertop. And we'll probably move before we need another one. Owners with hard water must descale the water tank every 3-6 months depending on usage, and it is ridiculously inconvenient and poorly designed to empty the tank and fill it with vinegar or descaling liquid. Either a syringe and funnel or part of a turkey baster and funnel needs to be used! The filters aren't affordable either, if you want to go that route. With all that said, it is convenient. But, it takes up the space of a large shoebox under your sink cabinet and is always plugged in for the heater. It's wasteful. My husband insisted on replacing it for his tea every night. Buy a tea kettle instead.

It is what our customer wanted. I think for the price, I would prefer the American Standard brand. American Standard seems to work longer with less issues and less expensive.

We have had one exactly like this for over 20 years. It finally quit working and I got a replacement. No complaints. It is reliable and keeps hot water ready on demand.

We had one of these that we added years ago, but the boiler finally bit the dust. We ordered the same make and model, and the installation was a breeze.

Great product. I installed it myself, but you have to be flexible enough to get under the kitchen sink and hang on the wall. Does a nice job. Our last one lasted about 10 years. This is our third one, but we are hooked on instant hot water in the kitchen!

This hot water tank works great and heats water quickly and consistently. The stainless steel design feels durable, and the 2/3 gallon capacity is plenty for everyday use like tea, instant meals, or small cleaning tasks. Installation is fairly straightforward if you’re comfortable with basic plumbing, and once set up, it runs quietly and keeps the temperature steady. Unfortunately, I had to return mine because it arrived as an open-box unit, which I wasn’t expecting. I would have kept it otherwise, since the unit itself seems solid and performs well.

Using this boiler in our coffee bar. It works great and looks great. Don’t put you finger under the hot water tap. When they advertise instant hot they are serious. I would recommend this product to anybody
