Perfect Paddleboard PFD
SO, I'm spank the baby butt new to paddleboarding - got this PFD as an add-on to my iSUP order, and found a video on youtube on proper fitting - I love this PFD - the most comfortable one I've ever worn! Once you fit it PROPERLY, it is very comfortable, will not slip off and allows great upper body/arm freedom of movement! The only trepidation I have is the flotation rating, which is 70 (means in sight of shore) but I am HIGHLY unlikely to be where I can't see shore as I'm not the world's best swimmer. I AM confident that this PFD will provide the flotation protection I need for mastering m paddleboard. In my humble opinion, however, if you are a hardcore kayaker or radical adrenaline junkie, you might wanna look for a PFD rated for open water? But I love this thing, I made the right choice! (PD Im kind of a chunky girl, but I can still adjust the fit so it doesn't slide up n smother me!

My life jacket for paddle boarding.
My husband and I just took up paddle boarding and one of the important pieces to our safety is a good life jacket.I measured the different measurements that were necessary for a great fit. And since I did that, my life jacket fits me very well.I love the extra pockets and the maneuverability is amazing. Because of how the jacket fits, it doesn't take all of my arm space necessary for me to use my paddle. Plus, my jacket looks great, and the performance is outstanding. Thank goodness that the price is very fair. It makes this jacket a great and necessary part of the sport.I can't wait to get back onto the water!

Quality PFD
Bought my first kayak and it “came with a PFD” which was a very basic life vest with no relief for a kayak seat back. This PFD was much more comfortable for kayak use. It is a bit bulky, but has not interfered with any of my kayaking on lakes, slow rivers and half day ventures which raged up to a mile from shore and over 10 miles. I still may upgrade to something more trim and with more pockets in the future, but this is still a very good PFD.

Perfect vest for paddlers!
As someone who recently took up Kayaking, I have been buying all the necessary items and some extras too. This was obviously a necessity and I did plenty of research before settling on it. Beyond safety, my main concern was comfort. In our state if you're on the water you have to have a life jacket on the watercraft, but you don't have to have it on. I admit when I'm paddling with a group I usually take it off, but I always have it on when going solo and this is definitely the most comfortable one I've found.Prior to buying it I borrowed several different types from friends to feel the difference. I used a soft neoprene vest, a firm nylon vest and one similar to this. Coming in a close second was the neoprene, but the cut and fit of the one similar to this provided a very comfortable full day of paddling. Next I had to consider size and as a female, it makes it a bit tricky. I read through the reviews and based off recommendations I chose the X-Large/XX-Large in Aqua and it was perfect. For reference I normally wear a size XL in shirts and a 40D in bras. This vest is very comfortable and with the straps on the side, I can adjust the tightness of it. It also doesn't irritate my arms/underarms because of the shoulder straps and cut outs of the vest; it definitely was made for paddlers. Overall highly recommended!

I would absolutely recommend this life jacket to any boater
I am a fairly big guy, at 6'3" and 245 lbs. Jacket has lots of room in both the shoulder and waist adjustments. I am sure it would fit, even if I had a big barrel chest. I will not have an opportunity to try it on the water for another 2 or 3 weeks. However, I wore it around the house for about an hour. It is very light weight. There is absolutely zero restriction for my arms. It does add bulk, but how else, besides an inflatable, can you achieve flotation? I found that within a few minutes, I was almost completely unaware of wearing it. I would absolutely recommend this life jacket to any boater. The only improvement I would suggest is the whistle. I have another life jacket whistle that is smaller, and much, much louder. Keep in mind, I didn't buy this jacket for it's whistle. I bought it for ease of movement and flotation. On a side note, a life jacket can only do you any good if you are wearing it. I flipped a fast dingy, a few years ago, while living on San Juan Island Washington. I often did not wear a life jacket, feeling I could swim to safety if I ever wound up in the water. Fortunately, because it was cold, I was wearing a life jacket that day. Fully clothed, I would have used all my available energy just trying to stay afloat. The typically 48 degree water of the Puget Sound rapidly saps strength. There is NO REASON TO NOT WEAR THIS LIFE JACKET, (unless you happened to be scuba diving instead of boating).
