Beautiful color
These look great in our fire pit at night. It looks like embers glowing. Break out the marshmallows.

It is well worth the price point and very pretty.
The media could not be loaded. I bought two boxes of this fire glass. I got it packaged in sealed bags, boxes into separate boxes per 10 pounds of glass. I had planned to wash the glass first as other reviewers had done, but we opened it, and my husband started putting it into the fire pit before I could tell him I wanted to rinse it all first. He was using gloves, but I was bare handed moving the pieces around and they were not sharp. There were very few tiny pieces. He did turn the bag over and we got a bit of shards and sand like pieces, but we got the vacuum and out dust adapter and we were able to clean out those pieces. I found one clear piece in the bag. The second bag we picked it all out by hand to avoid getting any of the tiny pieces. It was really a minuscule amount, I just didn’t want it in there because we get pretty windy times here. Once it was in, the 20 pounds was a perfect amount for the fire pit. I definitely recommend that amount for the basic size most everywhere sells. It looks really pretty. We have it in our in door fireplace and new how great it can look. None of the pieces got any lampblack on them after the first use nor did any react from the heat. I had it on high for over 2 hours tonight. This is large piece quality glass. I am impressed. I kind of wish now I had gotten the pacific color blend because I think that would have been really pretty, but I was a little concerned over some of the reviews. Well, I shouldn’t have been, this glass is just as quality as the kind we have for our indoor fireplace and we paid a great deal more for that.

Love these!
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love the color of these fire rocks! I ordered the 10 pound bag of aqua blue and was worried that it wouldn’t be enough. It’s honestly the perfect amount for my fire table! It has a lid to keep it clean and if I had more rocks, it wouldn’t be able to shut. They did come a little bit cloudy in the bag but I just washed them in a bucket with half water and half vinegar. They came out beautiful! Very happy with my purchase and I feel they were a fair price compared to others on the market.

Looks like a cross between broken glass and ice. I do like it.
I will start out by saying that I like the look of this. I was a bit surprised how big many of the chunks of broken glass were and upon opening the package was sure I'd send it back as a result. I was hoping for lots of smaller shards. These are more like small chunks. The upside is that they catch and reflect the light better than shards, so it give it more a 'fire and ice' type of look ... especially in the light aqua color. The downside is that if you have a long tray/burner, as I do, unlike the shards, it's hard to cover the burner holes with a top layer and have the flame poke out. You are supposed to cover only a half inch over the burner so there are lots of crevices that the flames can poke through. Given that some of these chunks are almost an inch thick or wide, it makes it impossible to lay a layer over the burners. I am a bit torn as to what looks better, larger chunks, like these, which dazzle more when the flames reflect ... or smaller shards which cover the ugly metal burner.A few pieces did get sooty but were easy to wipe clean. This is the fault of propane vs. the fire glass ... and honestly, the larger chunks are easier to wipe clean when cooled off vs. the smaller shards. They do show up soot much more in the lighter/clear aqua than a cobalt or darker color. If I wasn't to go with the icy look of aqua, I'd likely have gone with the darker blue cobalt so the soot would be less obvious.Overall, I am happy with these. I would need 15 lbs. if I was to completely cover my burner. It only comes in 10 lbs. and 20 lbs. Square fire pits and shallow rectangle (like mine with a 44 inch table) can probably get away with 10 lbs. For what is essentially tumbled glass shards, $20+ is a bit steep for 10 lbs. but I guess shipping cost factors into that. I would order this again and the glass seems high quality, if not a bit bigger chunks than I expected/like.

Sparkly and beautiful
Really looks great. Washing/rinsing made a major difference. There was quite a bit of tiny glass bits and shards that settled during the rinsing. Wear gloves. Be careful when first opening the Amazon box and package as there is quite a lot of glass dust that goes everywhere! Consider buying a bit more as one package is not quite enough to have a super full pit but still looks great. Enjoy!

Really pretty, and I love this color with our firepit!
We ordered the bronze, and it looks spectacular. Quality, color and size are all great, nothing but good things to say. 10 lbs was the perfect amount for our firepit.

Nice glass
We have one of those portable fire bowl tings on out deck. It came with lava rock which I hated. I replaced it with a reflective blue fire glass that was ok but kinda boring. I saw this glass in my daughters fire bowl and loved it. I replaced my old glass with this and couldn't be happier. It is large and chunky and looks so much better than the old glass I had. I did give it a good rinse as there was some dust with it.

Looks Great, But Rinse and Dry First!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased a 10 pound bag. The glass rock is currently at the same level that the lava rock was that came with our fire pit, but I’m wondering if I may need to buy another bag. I used a kitchen strainer to dump the 10 lb. bag in, then rinsed it with water. I sprayed a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water on it, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinsed again. I let it dry outside, then carefully added it to the fire pit. Doing this removed the cloudiness from the rock and left it shiny and beautiful. I love the way it looks in the daylight, but also when the fire it lit.
