I bought this for one purpose -a sex swing. I did not simply want to attach an eye bolt straight into a beam and have it pull out on me later (no pun intended). Attaching something like a sex swing that one knows very well is going to be bounced on, swung on, and doing other acrobats on had me looking for a more secure option. This delivered. It is straightforward and easy to install, the most difficult part was climbing through the attic and moving the insulation away from the drywall and beams. I suggest having two people - you are going to need someone in the room you are hanging it in order to make sure you are actually hanging it where you want it hung. You are also going to need someone to feed you the eye bolt as it goes in from the room side and attaching in the attic.It has now been used for my intended purpose extensively and shows zero sign of becoming unstable. Great buy, I'm surprised someone hasn't reviewed it for a sex swing sooner.

My handyman installed a pair of them on my pergola swing. These swing sets work very well. I am very pleased to see a working swing under the pergola.
