How many times A week should this be drank?

Honestly, it depends on you and how many bowel movements you are having. The first time I drank a cup of this tea, It emptied my stomach. What I did was that I drank 1 cup of tea every other day. Drinks lots of fluids to stay hydrated. Hope it works for you!

Doesn't help loose weight, but acts as a purgitive.

How long between ingestion and purge?

If you drink it hot after about 10 mins of steeping, depending on your system, it can take anywhere from 4 to 8 hours. To get the maximum purge, simmer the tea about 2 minutes after you let it come to a low boil. Or you can microwave it for 1 and half to two minutes.

Is it supposed to be in a sealed bag

The tea is in a sealed bag and the bag contains individual tea bags. The tea tastes pretty good too. I will order this product again.
