FunturboUpgraded PS Vita Charger Cable, PlayStation Vita Charging Cable PSV 1000 USB Data & Power Charger Cord 3.3 ft

Never owned the original cable for my Vita, as I got it secondhand. It came with a cheapo USB cable, and when that died, I replaced it with another cheapo cable. They both seemed to fit and work just fine, but after the second one also died, and also refused to connect to my PC via USB, I looked it up and saw that the cable, at least for the Vita, was much more important than I gave it credit for.So I picked this up for a few extra bucks over the cheap knockoffs, and wow, you can instantly tell the difference when plugging it in. With the other cables, they seemed to fit fine, would lock in and everything, so they didn't feel wrong. However, you get SO much more resistance when plugging this in, it's a much more snug fit, and as such, I haven't had any connection issues, whether it's charging or connecting via USB. I'd constantly have to jiggle the cable around on the cheap models to get charging started once they wore down over time, but with this, there's nothing to jiggle, it simply stays, like an immovable object.While I'm sure the actual cable can wear down after abuse, the issue with my previous cables was never the length of cable itself, but rather the connector. And the connector here is built completely different. Easy recommend, spend the few extra bucks. If you can't afford the few extra bucks, wait until you can.

This is a high quality cable that gets the job done. It doesn't fall out of the vita and charges fast. Super easy to fit and connect, and can be used to charge it or connect it to a computer. Great charger.

Does the job! Charges my vita, I think, quicker than the one that originally came with it. It also looks just like the original!

Cable is high quality and looks identical to the original. The clip that plugs into the Vita is very stiff. That's concerning if you intend to use this on the unit itself regularly, but seems to be a fine replacement for the charging dock.

I bought this cable to replace an original PS Vita Usb Cable that I lost during a move. The quality of the plastic is obviously not the same but it is not terrible. The connector is a bit tight going into the Vita but it fits fine. (As you can see in the second picture, the metal connector is not perfectly flat). It charged the system just fine. I originally bought it only for charging as i seldom if ever use it for data transfer but as i had some free time i tested that as well and it works flawlessly. Don't know if it will last over seven years as my original did but for the price it is well worth it to replace a lost one or to have as a spare for charging on the go.
