They are a gauze pad. There is no extra pads included. They are individually packaged, single layer, honey infused gauze pads.

Is it made from polyester?

Not that I know of, pretty sure it's cotton.

Can these be cut to the size that you need?

Yes they can. You can make them fit your wound size. The will unfold to.
