It's easy to replace and nice to reuse one.

クライスラー300C用に購入。当該車種のキャビンフィルターの選択肢が少なく、国内流通も限られて購入に時間がかかるため、思いきってK&Nのものに。エンジン用のエアフィルターは以前からしようしていたので、どのようなものかは大かた想像はついていたものの、なぜか日本では正規輸入されていないのが気になっていた。取付後の感想としては、通常の活性炭入りタイプと比べ、前を走るディーゼル車の排気ガスの臭いとりは若干甘いものの、エアコンの風量やとり込む外気の浄化に関しては問題なさそう。他のフィルターに比べてほんのりとフィルターの薬品らしき匂いがするが、個人的には気にならないレベル。何といっても効果が弱まれば洗って再利用できればいいというK&N最大のメリットは、キャビンフィルターを早めに交換したい身にはありがたい。あとは四季を通じて問題が発生するのかどうか…
