This is a packaging comment: inspect for cracks before melting in the container and use a secondary containment vessel. My tub had an impact crack and started leaking. I do not blame the company for this issue, am just mentioning to let others know to be watchful.I just made my soap so cannot comment on product quality except to say it melted clear and was odorless; I’m sure it will work perfectly and I would purchase this item again.

Texture is typical of Shea, and so it still has its integrity. Seal is perfectly tight. Melts quickly and thoroughly. Cost was right in my budget. Use this for anything like soaps, lip balms and body butters.

Pros….love the fact I can scoop it. Easy to measure out. Seems to have worked good in my CP soaps.Cons….I was in a pinch and needed oil fast! Well….that backfired! It got lost for over a week, then with the holiday it got delayed even more. When I finally got it, it had melted and leaked all out inside the bag. I tried to salvage as much as I could. If they can find a better shipping method I’d re order. Took me forever to get it cleaned up.

I do arts and crafts. I make soap too. I use this many times in my soaps. came fast. delivered fine. always are pricy it seems. I guess just how it is. works great in soaps and lotions
