Storelli ExoShield Head Guard, Military-Grade Head Protection, Foam Padding Headband, Official Headgear of US Club Soccer

Bought this for my daughter who has seizures to protect her head in case of falls. She wears it all the time when walking. Fits well and she says its comfortable. Would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for head protection.

We have tried several different head guards for my daughter, who is a goalkeeper, and the Storelli is by far the least cumbersome while also being the sturdiest. I do find that it stretches a bit over time, especially after getting wet, so the original headguard became too loose after being damp with sweat and rain, and I ended up having to replace it with a smaller size. Bear that in mind when choosing a size.I have seen a number of head injuries in the ten-plus years I have been a soccer mom, from a goalkeeper being kicked in the head to a recent collision that left one of my kids' teammates bleeding and concussed. In each case, a head guard such as the Storelli would have minimized or even prevented the injury. I don't know about the head guard's utility in preventing head injuries relating to heading the ball (good heading technique is probably more important), but it is definitely useful for cushioning the not-infrequent head-to-head or elbow-to-head collisions in soccer, and it is a must for a goalkeeper.While it hasn't been difficult to get my GK daughter to wear the head guard, it is more difficult to convince field players like my other kids to wear one. However, out of all the head guards on the market, the Storelli has the most aesthetically pleasing design so that helps.

The sizing seems confusing, it is different on Amazon vs the company web site. Otherwise good product.

Very impressed with this protective headband! It fits snug, but comfortable! I got it for roller skating and rollerblading. I like going backwards but worry about hitting a pebble and taking a spill. I bought other protective gear to go with this too, like a padded shirt and padded compression shorts. Of course, I already sported the wrist guards and knee/elbow pads, but this head protector and the other gear I got will have me feeling more secure, for sure!

I read tons of reviews prior to purchasing the headband. Most of them said that the headband ran large and that many people had to buy a smaller size. My son's head measured 22.5" which was at the top of a size 5 and the bottom of a size 6. He also has thick hair. So, I thought surely the size 5 would work. After 1 training session he said it was falling in his eyes the whole time. I then purchased a size 4 which was initially really tough for him to get on, but he says it's perfect once he starts sweating. The sizing is way off. Again, 22.5" head size should order a size 4 headband.

We followed the guidelines for measuring the product with extreme precision. According to the size chart we fell barely into size 5 but not in size 4. However, when our daughter gets in a game and sweats the head band gets loose and falls off! However, this company stood behind their product and sent us a new one, great customer service and a quality made product!

It was really difficult to size. Followed the directions specifically, and it was way too big. Now I am stuck with it because there is a "return window."
