Good choice for Turkish coffee pot
Excellent quality. Works well on ceramic cooktop. Looks great too.Inside tin lining makes it a safe choice. The wood spoon is essential to mix coffee without scratching the tin lining.

Excellent product
This ibrik is very good quality: thick walled copper feels substantial and high value. Beautiful shine and sturdy wooden handle with inlay. Super easy to clean by hand after using (30 seconds) and holds 3-4 cups (Turkish coffee size of course).

Hand crafted and well made. Enjoy your coffee a different way!
Bought two different sizes of the Birikis after doing several trips to Greece and having Greek coffee with my breakfast. Whether it is called Greek, Turkish, Israeli, or something else, it is basically the same method of making coffee. A coworker of mine who is from Israel referred to it as "Cowboy Coffee". It is made over a campfire, open flame, or a stove top. Bring it to a boil three times for Good Luck then pour it and drink it. You'll probably end up with some sediment in the bottom of your cup so let it settle a bit before drinking. The quality of the items is very nice! Well made, solid, nice artwork. Looks good in your kitchen and will probably start some conversations! Enjoy.

Turkish Coffee Pot
The 18 fl. oz. Turkish Coffee Pot is beautifully well-made and makes a delicious cup of Turkish/Arabic/Greek coffee for breakfast. It provides a slow, even heating on an electric stove top. It is very easy to clean with hot water.

Beautiful!
Beautiful piece and made a wonderful gift that I paired for my mom with an organic Turkish coffee mix! The one thing I'd like to point out is to adjust the product photo because this item came up on my search result when I specifically looked for a gold/brass Turkish coffee pot and I ordered it quickly without noticing that it said copper in the description. I kept it anyways because my mom loved it as is!

Beautiful piece that's really difficult to clean
Love the size, the copper color, handle and the finish. But after every milk chai, no matter what I try, the milk residue sticks like goo to the bottom of the pot making it difficult to scrub off. This makes us use the pot less unfortunately. :( It also takes quite a while to actually warm up compared to other pots. Maybe I just don't have experience with copper pots but thought it'd be quicker than my stainless pots? I was wrong. Since chai has to be done over lower heat, it takes almost over 5 minutes or so to come close to boiling point. It's quite meditative process though and the chai tastes great. Just be prepared to scrub... unless you've got tricks I don't know about.

Excellent coffee pot (jazve, ibrick), good heat spreading and retention, easy to clean
This pot is enough for one regular mug of coffee or two small coffee cups. It's pretty heavy and spreads the heat well. When I make coffee in this and my other (much older) copper pot on the same heat, this one usually is the last to boil (that's good, you want slow heat). Cleaning is very easy if you do it right away, but even dried coffee grounds come off after soaking. Be careful when shaking the pot with water/coffee in it, the bottom is shaped to enhance the cumulative effect and makes a jet of water shoot out of the pot if you shake it hard enough.
