I just got this bed so it is too soon to comment on the pain relief as my back is still adjusting and that takes time. But I will say it is a fantastic value for the money. It looks amazing and is very high-quality. I have it on an 18 inch tall metal frame. It is a bit tall and I have to climb into it with a footstool ha ha but it feels very, very comfortable. I will say that it is quite firm after it is fully inflated at first the bed feels kind of squishy after it is unpacked, but about 24 to 48 hours later, it reaches its full firmness. It is far firmer than any other mattress in a box that I have purchased. It does have an inner spring and a pillow top. It does not squeak or make any noise when you get into it. It’s pretty easy to get out of. In fact I go slow slowly because the edge is kind of a little on the springy side at the very edge and I don’t want to be launched into the air lol I really think this mattress is a fantastic value for the money and highly functional and great quality. I definitely recommend it. I do think you need to allow yourself time to adjust your back to the new level of support if you are not used to a firm mattress I have been sleeping on a crappy mattress for a long time and it is taking me some time to adjust, but it has only been a short period so I know it will take a little time. I was told 30 days.

I've been wanting a new mattress so bad as my old one was a cheap 11 year old full size that was slowly turning into sad shape. I got the black 14 inch queen size mattress and I'm soooo glad I took the risk! This is the first queen size I've ever had and it has so much more room than my full size mattress. I can comfortably roll around and not feel like I'm close to dangling off the sides.I was skeptical ordering one online since I didn't get to lay on it or feel how it is. My old mattress was pretty soft and cushiony so I was kind of nervous as this one is medium firm. I don't personally like mine being hard as a rock because I wake up feeling sore. When I opened it and laid on it I did notice it was more firm than my old one so I was scared I wasn't going to be comfortable. I gave it a chance though and I can now say after sleeping on it for a couple nights it doesn't leave me sore or with any back pain. If you want something in-between soft and firm in my opinion this is a good choice. It's not as hard as a rock but you also have some support and don't sink into the bed.Setting up this mattress was easy peasy. It was rolled up in an air tight bag and you are provided a little plastic tool with a blade cut it open. It does spring out quickly once you cut the air tight bag so make sure it's facing the correct way (The spiraled part is what's going to unravel). Make sure no people are in the way of the mattress when opening to avoid injury and make sure there's nothing around that can be knocked over by it. It says it needs a few days to fully inflate but I'd say it's nearly there once you open it. I break the rules and start sleeping on it the first night I got it and don't believe it affected the mattress expansion in any way.Some mattresses when you open have pretty bad or chemical like smells. This one didn't but I do recommend keeping a window open just in case. I was able to shut mine after opening it because there was literally no smell on mine.

First of, I am writing this review on this super comfy mattress! I just might not leave my room ever again. Pet approved. I was leary of purchacing a mattress off of Amazon, but this beauty is wayyyyy better than the POS that I bought at the mattress store. Once opened, it was ready to go, not smooshed at all. As other reviews state, there really wasn't a chemically smell after opening. Great value, sooo comfy and it looks just like the picture. Very acurate thickness.FOLLOW THE OPENING INSTRUCTIONS!!!I am not sure what wizzardy magic was used to get this HUGE ass mattress in a tiny tube, but sorcery was used. I am still in awe that the mattress arrived in such a small box.Now it has VERY clear opening instriuctions on where and how to cut the plastic to open. It even has cute little "cut here" dashy marks and comes with a special opener so you don't damage the mattress. You cut it vertically instead of horizontally. (this will make sense when you open it) Well, my brother was trying to be helpful, and did not follow the instructions on where to cut, (even though I told him so) and this mattress EXPLODED open with such force it knocked him 5 feet into the wall. No one was hurt, and it was hystericaly funny, but DAMN. It had the force of an RDE. So long story short, make sure you cut along the "cut here" dashy marks.

I rolled the dice and chose this over a pure memory foam and Im glad I did. The Queen 14" is pretty heavy, but I was able to drag it up the stairs and set up by myself. Unrolled and fully shaped in minutes. It took a few days to get used to the firmness coming from a 20yr old mattress, but its perfect now. Laying down I don't sink into the bed anymore, and this is keeping me cooler at night being a hot sleeper. On pur ememory foam mattresses I get sweaty but not on this one. Its got just enough softness and amazing support. I haven't had a sweaty night after using this mattress. Im 5"4 and 185 lbs. Sitting on the very edge or corner of the bed might make it feel squishy since all the weight is being isolated into one point, but laying down and distributing the weight is where this mattress shines, it does a great job. I sleep near the edge of the mattress and its firm only a couple inches from the side, it keeps it shape well and looks very angular with the sheets on.

Overall, it’s a great mattress. Like 200% better than what I had. I will say, as a medium firm mattress, it’s definitely far more springy and plush than I expected it to be. Would’ve loved for it to be a tad more firm! Aside from that, it’s still very comfortable and doesn’t like permanently dip in any spots like some mattresses do. It’s also classy looking af.
