Very nice knife.I have bought Bear Knives before and this one has the quality I expected.

Nice knife but very heavy. I should have ordered different handle then the stainless steel handle.

I like the USA made part the knife is well made mine was not finished edges were not de-horned enough for my liking polished it out with my tools the blade is sharp and mine shaves hairs. I have used my model 114 daily for awhile its holding up well the tension screw on the handle is stripped out so I will have to drill it out maybe find replacement screw somewhere it is a knife tough enough to handle anything you throw at it solid stainless steel handle and blade with the G10 red insert to give it character I paid more than there being sold for here I would buy another but mine is to tough to wear out anytime soon. The knife is hefty capable of doing it all from hunting trips, self defense, shop chores boxes etc. ambi thumb studs and optional sides for the pocket clip. Worth the purchase best of luck.

This knife is made well, locks up tight and is sharp but the assisted opening feature is terrible. I own many assisted opening knives and know what I am talking about. It is almost impossible to open with the thumb, if you shift the knife crossways in your hand and push the thumb assist straight out it will work. That’s not the way they are supposed to work.
