Q: Has anyone found replacement keys? I recently moved and misplaced the keys and all my jewelry is locked inside.

You can find a new lock at a hardware store and drill out lock with lost key, or you can find a locksmith!

Q: can the lipstick shelf be replaced with shelf?

While the different "compartments" aren't DESIGNED to be swappable, you certainly could change it to a shelf. I believe the little makeup baskets are only secured with an adhesive, so you could easily peel them off using a hair dryer. After that, just slot in a piece of wood, secure it to the frame with screws, and cover the screw heads with some wood putty. Then glue a piece of plastic, or a thin sheet of paneling to the ledge as a guard so things don't fall off. Once you have all your pieces cut to size, removing the lipstick baskets and adding a shelf shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.
