As a brand representative for IGK, I will be happy to answer your question! Expensive is meant to be used in place of conditioner 1-2x per week and rinsed from the hair before styling with your favorite products. As long as your preferred products are not mattifying, they should not dull the shine from Expensive. I hope this helps!

It does keep my flyaways down but dull? Not super shiny but not dull either… if your looking for high shine this may not do it….
