Depends on if you purchased one sword or two. But yes it does come with sword (s)

Q: Is it durable enough for hitting things ?

Short answer: No. They are made of flexible wood/bamboo and are strictly a show prop. If you hit something with this it would instantly snap off.

Q: Are the tengen blades bamboo and is it 2 blades or just one?

The Tengen swords come as a set of two.
