It's a great phone, but I meant to purchase the red magic 10 pro. I accidentally bought the red magic 10 light. I would highly recommend this phone for anyone who wants a great gaming phone! But I want the best version of this phone possible, so I'm going for the red magic 10 Pro!

I LOVE IT!!! BEST GAMING PHONE EVER AND AWESOME FEATURES AS WELL. Weight feels light screen quality is the best. Can be a little expensive but they also have payment plans which I’m doing. And phone unlock ability is very easy to access.

Prior reviews of this phone are spot on with their Pros. I love everything gaming about it. The misconception here is that several complain about it not working on US networks. I have mine on Ting and they use T-Mobile and yes it will work on T-Mobile as well. 5G connection is great have no issues with networking either. It will not work on Cricket, been there done that. Cricket was my original provider.Now for the buggy parts. I returned one and now may return another. The issue on both so far is that when I make a call to someone they can't hear me but I hear them. I found out if I put them on speaker phone and then off speaker phone they hear me. Now this only has happened so far on cell to cell calls.The second bug is those I call can hear themselves echo back. No matter what setting I toy with it does not clear it up even with the volume down to almost unhearable. The work around for echo calls is to use a headset. To me this would make me think that there is no buffer between the speaker and mic in the phone and it is not an issue with the service provide.Do not rely on ZTE nubia support if you buy on Amazon they will not offer it. I have reached out to ZTE nubia about this issue and they have ignored me thus far.UPDATE: Upon reading through reviews on another site I was able to find another user with the same issues. He solved the issue with no help from nubia. The fix was simply switching from sim slot one to sim slot two. I did the same and Magic! It worked.

2nd edit: Please don't buy these red magic phones. After updating my phone to the latest software v420, my call quality has suffered. Voices keep cutting out constantly and I can't even hold a phone conversation anymore. Bluetooth has been acting up with my car's head unit and the phone just recently started slowing down. I'm not sure if it's due to the internet connection (wifi and 5g) or if the device itself is having issues. I regret updating and it drives home the point even further. Doesn't matter if you have the best specs in the world, if you have no software to match it, the hardware is useless.Now I have a phone that can't even function properly as a phone.Edit: After having this for a few months I changed it from a 4 to a 3. Just too many software issues that dampen the experience. Still great for the hardware but in the end it's still a phone first and foremost. You shouldn't be having inconveniencs with it's primary function. They can do so much better.Most of you obviously bought this phone because of it's gaming capabilities and the air triggers. I had the redmagic 6 pro earlier this year but had to return it because it didn't work fully on Verizon network. This new updated version has all the proper radio bands for US networks and small enhancements over the 6 pro. The phone excels when it comes to it's hardware and design.Unfortunately, it's lacking in software. Coming from an S10 the difference is very noticeable. From just inconveniences to spelling mistakes and lack of features that the competition has, this phone could've been the ultimate go to device if not for those. I wish I could list off all the little things that I experienced here and there but there's so many and I'm sure other people have posted about them before.As for the other typical phone things, they're ok. Battery lasts a long time even when gaming and charges up extremely fast with the included 33w charger. I can't even imagine how fast it would fully charge with a 66w charger. Maybe 30 minutes or so?The screen can get pretty bright but I wish the auto brightness worked a bit better, I find myself manually changing the brightness a lot. The refresh rates are great. I usually keep mine on 90hz to save battery but when playing I crank it up to 120 or 165hz (which does make a notable difference). The screen is a bit fragile so I recommend getting a tempered glass screen protector.The cameras are ok, nothing to write home about. The front facing camera definitely could've been better but it's still serviceable.One last thing to note, sometimes I feel like the fan makes the screen more hotter at 165hz. I end up turning it off when playing to be more comfortable.Overall, it's a great performing phone that could use some updates to the software. The consensus is that nubia doesn't release constant software updates so I'm not holding out any hope on enhancements/fixes.
