Give me energy for sure. On stomach easy.I take about 12 noon after lunch.

Great supplement. Helps boost energy and to me it helps me feel clear headed.

This is a well manufactured supplement, and the 25 MG is the recommended daily dose. There are some cheaper alternatives, but the savings are not very much, and since this supplement is micronized for bio availability, The price difference is probably justified.The big question for this supplement is whether or not you should be taking it. It affects estrogen and testosterone, and these are very powerful hormones. Websites ( like the Mt. Sinai site) offer advice on who may be a candidate and who probably is not. For example, They recommend that healthy individuals under 40 should not be taking DHEA. And some studies showed that the positive effects, such as help with bone density, did not appear for anyone under 70.Almost all, if not all, supplements, have a warning on them that says you should consult with your physician before using it. I don’t think anyone asked the doctor before they take vitamin C. This one specifically says consult with your physician before use if you were taking any medications. There are some good websites out there that will give you interaction and interference information if you put in multiple drugs, or supplements, and I’m glad I did that. I looked into it before I started to take it, and it turns out that I should definitely not because of other medication, I am taking.If you need this, taking it can have a lot of positive effects, but if you don’t, it might not be harmless.

Excellent product

I feel more alert and the hormones are not out of wack.

On the recommendation of a few of my friends who take this, I decided to try it. After about a month, I haven't noticed any of the reported side effects from this. My mood does seem to be a bit better, but I've been trying a few other supplements as well off an on over the past couple of months that can also effect your mood over time, so I'm not sure how much of the mood improvement is tied to this or to previously taken supplements. I don't seem to be getting the increased energy boost or some of the other benefits from this that my friends say they get, so I'm thinking DHEA may not be as effective for me as it is for them. The quality looks good, single ingredient DHEA with some rice flour thrown in to fill the capsule. Some of the other DHEA supplements I looked at had a bunch of other ingredients thrown in that I really didn't want to try or that I already take in other supplements. The capsules are small, very easy to swallow. The bottle I received had a good expiration date, over a year and a half away, so plenty of time to use this 4 month supply.
