This beast is amazing easy to install and function when installed. Best quality for the money spent. I plan on ordering another one because these are very durable and look amazing.

Put this on my company truck- 2016 F250 that had the OEM tailgate get the snot knocked out of it after years of forktruck bumps. Replaced it with this and it's held up perfectly. Sturdy, simple hardware, and a fraction of the cost of a new tailgate. Couldn't be happier. Our company now buys them for all new trucks and stores the original tailgate for when they might resell the truck. We use our trucks to haul industrial equipment to and from repair and don't baby them.

While the tailgate itself is good, you still need the rod from the original style tailgate- not stated in the description. While the rod is only $130 from Ford, it would have been nice to know beforehand as mine was bent in the accident that caused me to order this as a replacement

I needed to replace a factory tailgate. The OEM tailgates are too expensive so I bought the Custom Flow REL28 Regular Wheel Tailgate. Unfortunately that tailgate has a 200lb limit. I found this tailgate and I contacted the manufacturer before ordering. They said this tailgate will match the factory tailgate as far as how much weight it will hold. For someone who is looking for a practical replacement this is it. The welds look very good and the paint job is excellent. It is a steel tailgate though so I expect there will be rust over time unless you actively maintain it. For my purposes this is perfect. This tailgate was for a Ford F350. You can check the Go Industries website to verify fit. I believe this tailgate fits Dodge and Chevy trucks as well. It comes with some heavy duty plastic spacers to allow it to work with other vehicles. I will try to attach a picture because the ones included don't do it justice.

Excellent product for my 2016 F250. I am very happy with the build quality as it feels very secure and the tailgate uses a locking mechanism to secure itself into your tailgate strikers. It did not come with any bolts so make sure you order the hinges/rollers and bolts for your tailgate if you need mounting hardware. I was able to install some tailgate cables on it as well as a backup camera. I feel comfortable sitting and standing on it. I installed it myself in a few minutes.For your awareness: Item arrived basically with a label slapped onto it as the box was falling apart and much of the tailgate was exposed. This caused the tailgate to have scuffs and after spending $400 for it I wish it would’ve arrived in better condition. At this point I’m not interested in trying to return it for a replacement as it is minimal wear but if I would look it over closely in case receiving a product in the state bothers you.

I see mixed reviews on this. I gotta say it is an excellent product. I bought a second one after cratering my first one stupidly with a gooseneck trailer. Those that complain about a gap between the tailgate and truck bed need to learn basic mechanics and adjust the hinges inward. If your old hinges are not 100%, go ahead and replace those too, and maybe your straps too, when you order this great tailgate.

The tailgate is a nice replacement for the old one. Added the cable on each side and works as needed.
