Excellent blade.
I still have the old non carbide tips you have to sharpen, and since the housing building slump, sharpeners have gone out of business. I used this on my Makita beam saw and it was supurb!

Awesome Blade and still going after 2 years and thousands of cuts
I have had this for 2 years now and have cut 1000s of pieces of wood for my wood stove and it still cuts well. It is so sharp compared to competitors It can actually cut wood on a 2.5 HP 120v 15 amp table saw O.o The saw is only supposed to work with 10 or 12 in blades but this thing is so thin and sharp it actually function just fine. I would have gone through countless avente (SP?) pro blades by now so I can not stress how much it is worth getting high end blades. This has dulled but its still sharper than fresh avente (SP?) pro blades by far!

Great saw blade
I bought this for a job I had framing a patio cover using 6x6 and 6x12 douglas fir lumber. This blade was for my Makita beam saw and I read a lot of reviews before ordering this blade. The reviews were conflicting on many blades one guy likes it and then the next guy hates it. I decided on this blade because I have used their 7 1/4" blades and they were fine and the price on the 16-5/16" was good.The best part was the blade performed great, I had adjusted it so it cut square and the cuts were perfect the saw didn't work hard even going through knots.
