This is exactly the type of repair end I've always wanted for Ethernet cables. We've all been there: you've used a cable for so long that the retention tab cracks and breaks off, compromising your device's connection. With these, you simply cut off the old head, strip the wires, and slot them into the included and clearly marked retaining brick.These repair ends are incredibly intelligently designed for ultimate versatility. You just open the locking lever, wire it up, and lock it closed. They can even be reused repeatedly (unless, of course, the retention clip eventually fails). I love how easy they are to use, and they function beautifully.The only thing to be aware of (which is just a function of their design) is their size; they are larger than a standard terminal plug. Despite that, these are an exceptional tool and a great value.

This connectors are a must for every DIY home network toolbox, it allows easy to troubleshoot and just quickly fix a bad connector before taking the whole kit. They work good and can be used to leave in place if you want, or just take them off when you have the time to properly fix the connection.

All metal terminations are key for high end network connections.These are high quality termination points that come with the metal wraps for shielding. The took some getting used to as I historically punched down my connections, but they worked well.Love these.
