No complaints
Both my kids wear these shirts under their uniforms for baseball/softball. Despite their sensory issues, neither kid complains about wearing them. That's a win. Daughter is 5'2 and 95 lbs, son is 4'6 and 70 lbs and they both fit in size large.

Sternum/heart protection for him; peace of mind protection for me
This is one of those products that you wear and you pray that you will never have the misfortune of finding out whether the padding actually works or not. I ordered this chest protector shirt to replace a very similar one (McDavid brand HEX sternum shirt) that my son had used for several years for baseball and flag football but recently outgrew. I don’t believe he’s ever taken a direct hit to the heart, so we don’t know for sure how well these type of shirts work, but that’s the way I like it. When my husband was a teenager, he played in a hockey game where a kid on the other team was hit in the chest by a puck and died; the chances of a fatal hit to the chest are remote, but it does happen. This protective shirt is lightweight, moisture-wicking and sleeveless, my picky son has no problem wearing it, and it gives us a little peace of mind. This shirt has washed well so far; I hang it on the laundry drying rack to dry. It dries pretty quickly because of the material.

Fell apart
Had this product for 8 months and the padding inside the chest fell apart and crumbled. Prob used / washed product 15 times. Terrible quality.
