Worthy piece of equipment
Positives definitely out weigh the negatives. I travel for work 85% of the time and of course do most everything with a microwave in a hotel room. Very difficult to eat healthy when limited to that. I bought this around 7 or 8 months ago and have used it primarily to boil water for coffee and things like oats and broths. It has done very well for that. I bought the coffee French press add on as well. Makes great brew. Up until this week I checked into my room and to my surprise no microwave. This is a newer chain, not naming names this is not a hotel review. I was looking at the groceries i purchased wondering wtf am I going to do now. I got this out and prepared my beef stew in it, normally I cook this meal in a Pyrex in the nuke, not so awesome but it’s worked for a long long time. This thing cooked that same meal like literally jaw dropping well. I can not believe it. Years of putting up with this degrading practice, knowing I was doing harm to myself eating nuked food day in day out. Excellent excellent! Never go back again. The negatives of this cooker are very minimal but I’ll put it out there. The cord is way too long. I bought a 2 foot television cord, same end as the other one. The lid is not functional, it falls off easily. It leaks if you try to pour from it. The lid needs to come off of the coffee French press without taking the press apart. I drilled the hole out to a little over 1 inch, step drill bit, works much better. The French press rod is way too long, I cut mine in half and reattached knob. Basically that’s it and I think I will buy another one.

Compact and portable
This product heats water fast enough. It can boil a pot of water in just a few minutes. It is very convenient for making tea, coffee or instant noodles. Moreover, it does not require fuel such as propane and can be used simply by plugging it in. It is highly suitable for use in scenarios such as electric vehicles and recreational vehicles. Most importantly, its security is very high

Nice thing to have while you trucking.
Wonderful product. Nice thing to have on the road specially in winter weather. I boiled and cooked eggs on this and turn out nice. Soups warm up nicely. The lid is bad. Does not fit snugly or seals. That’s the only reason I don’t give 5 stars. I use it everyday

Rapid boiling, sturdy handled sleeve, awesome for fire-less cooking
I love how fast water boils, i love that it can pack up quickly. I use mine mainly as a coffee kettle , my teen loves it for ramen, and as a hot pot, as he puts it. The first three uses the lid warped, I emailed the company, they sent me out a lid but said it was lost in shipping, I need the lid, so the company made it right, said I bought an older version and sent me an upgrade, best customer service and an awesome product! I have brought it to work with me to heat up soup, make popcorn and to heat up chili. I will be purchasing another for my adult son. Durability is great, easy clean, although you can’t submerge in water the cup portion is wide so I can get my hand and a sponge in there. Use filtered water to cook, I use spring water, I don’t use tap water because it leaves what looks like hard water stains. But it does scrub out just takes a bit of work. This is seriously one of the best products I have purchased, I usually carry a small 720 watt battery pack for charging my younger child speech device, headphones and other accessories he requires so if I take them all to the park I pack this as well, if they want hot chocolate while out in the cold, bingo, makes them happy. This kettle pot blows the plug in car cup out of the water! Different sleeve designs so you can choose if buying from the company website, the sleeve makes it tolerable to hold but be careful while pouring. That lid needs to snap on tight. This is definitely something I will be taking with me camping, the boil time is way faster than the stove for boiling water to make coffee (I use a coffee press) and this is definitely something that is durable as long as it’s kept free of water from the buttons, electric components. The stirring rod it comes with is definitely durable , I keep it at the bottom of my to go bag so it doesn’t get lost, it’s definitely needed for stirring, to me it’s better than trying to use a camping spoon, you won’t scratch the kettle pot, no worries about that. Overall definitely a product I would recommend to other’s, this company stands by their product and customer service support is amazing! I will definitely buy again.

Awful smelly water heater!
No matter what this item does or doesn't do I cant get past the toxic smell when it's hot. Smells like a hot tire shop.I dumped the hot water out of it into a ceramic cup and I could still smell that smell. It's horrible to run it in my van. And stinks up a room when run indoors. This can't possibly be safe to eat from or drink water from! The only reason it gets any stars is because it does heat water. But even that took almost 8 minutes. And lastly, those of us who don't have manly calloused hands are going to find this uncomfortably hot to touch.Just shameful after paying that enormous price. Should have just bought a hot water pot from a store!

Great design, poor execution.
The draw for me was the "multipurpose" use. My comfort food when I'm not at home are popcorn and instant noodles, and of course different kinds of warm beverages. You'd have to guess the temperature when boiling water. Luckily I have a device for that. But this doesn't even keep the boiled water hot/warm because the lid has spouts and holes and there's no way to cover those, like say an option to cover the holes! And the popcorn mode is a waste of time, effort and popcorn kernels. The two popped corns on the right were done in a microwave. The other two on the left are the half-popped kernels done with this kettle. They were barely edible. Or maybe if you like hard crunchy hybrid half-popped popcorn then that's fine.I think I'll stick to my old travel kettle. At least I could control the temperature for my different kinds of teas.

It can be purchased.
I like the appearance and style of this electric kettle. It gets hot very quickly. Convenient for refilling the spout and cooling the touch handle.
