Initially very impressed. Ironed everything perfectly at exactly the right temperature .However, on the second use it started spitting dirty water on to my clothes.Thought it might need to be emptied (using the descaling drainage plug) in case there was dirty inside from when it was manufactured.Unscrewing the plug was quite a tight affair but it came out eventually. Quite a bit of dirty water came out but when I tried to screw the plug back in again, it wouldn't go back in and on checking, I can see the plugs female thread on the inside is out of alignment and the plug cannot locate the thread to screw back in again.Contacted Phillips and sent pictures to them and they confirmed it was faulty but instead of offering a replacement they offered a repair. Bearing in mind this iron is less than two weeks old, a replacement is their legal obligation under the sale of good act, not a repair. They then suggested if I want a replacement I have to go back to Amazon which I did and Amazon have sent out a replacement. Just as well as the price I paid was £240 and this iron has now gone up to £400 - absolutely not worth £400 and I would not have purchased it if it was £400.Let's see what the replacement is like and hopefully an improvement on this one
