Works perfect for leaves on my patio

This outdoor broom has been useful when sweeping the dirt off my patio. The bristles could be a little more stiffer but it gets the job done. It comes in a box so you do have to put the rod together and the screw it into the broom part so it is easy to assemble.

It actually worked great on.y sidewalk. IT BROKE AT THE PLASTIC HANDLE INSERT INTO THE BROOM AFTER ONLY USING IT 3 TIMES. ITS A FLAWED DESIGN. AVOID.

First off, this is an interesting idea... having curved backward bristles to hopefully better trap leaves. In reality however, a simple plastic yard/leaf rake will outperform this version 90% of the time. For simply raking of leaves over grass, this rake is okay but subpar compared to a traditional yard rake which is wider and stiffer and therefore able to remove more leaves with less work (less passes required). However, if using to rake leaves off bark, mulch, or dirt you don't wish to overly disturb, then this rake is for you. The bristles are far less stiff than a traditional rake and therefore are gentler on any underlying material or substrate. But, if you are simply trying to move the most leaves from your lawn quickly... this rake is easily outmaneuvered by a typical lawn rake. I'm not sure I would call this 'commercial' quality either as the handle is a bit questionable in quality and may not stand up to serious use required in a commercial environment... certainly not what I would call 'heavy duty.'

The broom is easy to put together EXCEPT that there is an order to how you attach the pieces. There is one piece that has a larger threaded end. That is the piece that attaches last and is the piece that attaches to the broom head. I didn't notice this at first and was going crazy because after screwing the first piece together the other pieces wouldn't fit right. Finally I realized the problem and then it was easy. This dual tool works great as both a rake and a broom. In fact, I think it is the best rake I have ever used. It doesn't take much effort, you don't have to put a lot of pressure on it while raking. I also use it as a broom in my garage. It works really well as a broom. It's really awesome!

Works good for sweeping the porche or Patiño and light raking of leaves or small branches on the grass. Perhaps you will need a traditional wire rake if you need more heavy duty raking but it’s perfect for everyday chores. The ingenious design lets you use it as a broom on one side, and as a rake if you invert it. Pretty cool, usefulTool tool at a very reasonable price. Very happy with it!

It takes a bit of getting used to but once you figure out how to use a broom as a rake and a rake as a broom it makes perfect sense! I use the broom to push leaves and detritus out of the garage but reverse and use it as a rake to clean up leaves from the yard. Works wonderfully both ways. Quality bristles.

If you have a huge driveway or patio, you probably want a huge push broom, not this broom, it's not huge, but it's mighty! I have an apartment and tons of trees in front of it and my porch step and walkway are CONSTANTLY covered in leaves. It rakes and sweeps dry and wet leaves and pine needles amazingly easy and cleans of fairly easy so I just tuck it behind my front door inside so it's easily accessible. We had a HUGE snow and ice store here in KY a few weeks ago and my snow brush was frozen in my car. This brush helped me clear my car off and didn't scratch my paint. Just like with all these other brooms out here it comes unscrewed easily so you do have to constantly tighten it, but that's not an issue. Its sturdy enough to get the job done for what I need it for. I saw all these negative reviews here and I'm glad I ignored them, I'm very happy with this broom!
