Promising ingredients, but no quick fix, and daily use may be impractical for some.
As an ordinary conditioner, this has a pleasant, fresh smell, but is only average at conditioning and detangling. I can't really comment on its effectiveness for hair growth, as we Vine reviewers are strongly encouraged to review within 30 days, so the timescale of "up to" 12 weeks before any results can be expected means I don't know at this point. However, I do understand how it *might* work. It contains Aminexil, which is a compound similar to minoxidil. The latter is available over-the-counter and on prescription for the treatment of hair loss, and I already use the best-known OTC brand, so it was easy to embrace this chemically-similar product. It also contains niacinamide, which may prolong the life-cycle of the hair, and thus reduce shedding. Although reduced shedding does not equate to new growth, keeping more of what you still have is a sensible and understandable goal, so again, happy to embrace this!Where I *do* have issues is it needs to be used DAILY for best results - and along with the matching shampoo. (a) I don't have the shampoo, and (b) I've never washed my hair daily, and am not about to start. My long, curly and frizzy hair is just not suited to it. So, is once or twice a week better than nothing, or not worth the time and money?Another thing from personal experience is that ANY hair-growth programme is a long-term commitment. If you stop, any benefits you may have seen (which could have taken months) will be reversed, and you'll be back to square one. Any new growth won't persist if you don't continue the treatment. 😢So before starting, it's worth thinking about whether you have the patience and the budget to persevere indefinitely.
