I usually do not give reviews. Purchased over 3 months and should last years. It will rust if not properly oiled and stored. I just love it, well built for the money. Holds an edge well and easy to sharpen. I do not understand the negative reviews. Yes if you gave $500, you would expect more. But the best knife I have ever purchased for under $50. Nice durable leather also. Carry it with me daily and use it. Liked it so much I purchased a different model from them.

I have a fairly large knife collection and this is one of my favorite knives. Very patriotic.

I was excited to receive this knife but a bit underwhelmed when i received it. The knife is amazingly sharp and the Damascus blade is stunningly beautiful, but the handle is thin and not ergonamical in the hand. The sheath fits and secures the knife well but also has a few cosmetic flaws. Overall its a nice piece but i will probably just display it instead of using it as a functional knife.

Good quality would buy again for the money

This knife is pretty sweet. It’s fairly thin for its length, which keeps it fairly light. The blade measures 0.1” thick at the back of the tang. The handle is 0.56” thick, and mostly flat, with rounded edges and a contoured shape. It’s easy to grip with large hands, and the rough jimping on the back grabs my thumb well. The weight is well-balanced overall. The edge is ridiculously sharp. This is one of the sharpest as-it-comes edge I’ve seen at this price. I suspect the Damascus makes for a micro-serration along the edge. It’s sharp and it slices. Very slicey, fast in the hand, nimble for its size. What I don’t like is how it cuts into the sheath when I put it away. This sheath is really nice. Veg-tanned leather, horizontal carry with two loops, vertical carry with one loop, with brass star rivets and an Oklahoma seal on the snap. It has the foam middle instead of more leather, which is usually for ease of sewing, but in this case, it’s a snug fit and the blade catches that foam every time. It catches the strap, too. I have to hold it back so it doesn’t nick the edges.This came practically puddled in oil inside plastic bags. The sheath I got clean with a little rubbing alcohol; it was a little oily but mostly clean, and that may have been from my oily hands after taking the knife out. The knife I used some oil wipes on before using soap and water, and I had to do several rinses. That oil kept the blade totally free of rust, but it left the handle soaked in grease. Of all the oily knives I’ve gotten, this one took the longest to clean. It definitely needs that oil, after letting it dry for a day I could already see oxidation starting. I brushed that clean and used some knife oil on the blade only, and it’s back to glory. The handle is smooth, no scales too high, no gaps. I can get a fingernail on the edge of the tang, but not between the scales. The fit is tight.I think this is a solid value for the price. It’s got the charm of a handmade item. I can tell that the sheath will relax once I break it in and the blade won’t drag on that foam, which tells me this is made by someone who uses and their products and knows them well.

This is a beautiful knife! The handle is very well made and looks fantastic. Also, the blade came very sharp. It’s become one of my favorite in my knife collection!
