When using a desk/mousepad, it doesn't really feel any different, but on the melamine surface on my desk at work, it is infinitely better than the original plastic skates. They used to get little pieces of sand or something embedded in them and would make scraping noises while moving my mouse, but that's entirely gone with glass!They do have nicely rounded edges so I'm not super worried about damaging the desk surface, but it could be a possibility given the hardness of glass.My only complaint is that they don't have any options to get these without random patterns that make the mouse look worse.

These skates almost make your mouse feel weightless! The gliding action is soooo smooth! Definitely works as advertised. The only problem that I might see myself running into is precise mousing. Since they slide so much easier than the Teflon pads, there's the potential for click-wandering. The Teflon pads will stay put when you apply pressure during a click event, but these glass skates will still freely slide under pressure. This has the capacity to wander off in the middle of a double-click which can drag items when you don't want to or register as two single clicks. So far I haven't seen it happen but the possibility exists. If it turns out that becomes a problem, I'll update this review. So far, so good!

Many staff and I had the original Logitech MX Mouse skates start to snag which is annoying - especially when using your computer for 8+ hours. These Mouse Skates are better than the original...easier and smoother gliding so less pressure on your hand and wrist. The adhesive is the best made so I doubt these will wear out like the original.

Installed them - there is absolutely no deference - now I have my original damaged because wanted to install these and need to buy another set -

After installing these the mouse glides super smooth and is day and night difference. I only docked one star because they are a bit expensive.

Great replacement skates! They are easy to install and work well, especially on harder surfaces like a plastic mousepad or countertop.

I was surprised at how well these work, basically zero drag after I put these on. The old PTFE skates were getting worn and causing a "catch" to be felt when using my mouse. 3M precision mouse pad also pictured.

Amazing! This was my first time using glass slides and my mouse now glides with easy. Never going back to anything else.
