Used this in the shower cubicle to remove the old silicone. Didn't work. It has a really unpleasant odour that made my eyes water and made breathing difficult. I won't be buying this again. It was easier to use a scraper to remove the old silicone.

Read the instructions, very caustic
Viscous acid material destroys everything in its path, do not leave on any material for too long.Wear gloves because it hurts, or use a named brand that you can trust.

No way to ‘spray’ the gel…
The scraper is ok, but having removed the bull of the existing sealant, there’s no mechanism to apply the remover. Instructions say ‘spray’, but with what? Its just a pot of solvent. Avoid.
