I really like this fuel, I have it burning now to help my heat pump along. It -2 degrees this morning, so I lit the indoor fireplace and its helping the heat pump warm it up in here.

After trying multiple brands of bioethanol available on Amazon I was about to give up on finding one without the gassy smell. But this one delivers on the promise! 🙌

This was my first time purchasing liquid fuel and I found several on the market. I decided on this one for my table-top fire pits and the fuel works great and looks great while burning. It's as described - no smoke, very clean flame, no odor, etc. The bottles do come with a pour control insert at the top of the bottle which is nice. I rated this 4 stars for "easy to use" because the fuel does drip a bit if it's poured slowly and when you stop pouring but that is to be expected and it's certainly not excessive - I was prepared and had a paper towel handy.

The media could not be loaded. SMART FUEL burned very clean with no fumes. It burned a slightly higher flame than Regal Flame Premium Ventless Bio Ethanol Fireplace Fuel. It also burned slightly warmer than Regal. In a 7ft x 15 ft 3 season room with windows closed, I tested both products. SMART FUEL did burn slightly warmer. The temperature of the room in October in the evening was 55 degrees. It raised the temperature to 70 degrees! HOWEVER, 1.06 quarts (1 liter) only lasted 1hr and 55 minutes. Regal also burned very clean with no fumes. The flames were slightly lower than SMART and did not throw as much heat…a difference of 4 degrees. IT however burned for 2 hours 30minutes. SMART COST $8.66 each. Regal cost $7.12 each. (1 qt) at the time of this posting. Both are super nice to have a beautiful flame and comfy room! (Note: fuel cost impacted by pandemic possibly false distribution and availability costs?). Might switch to one of the new Duraflame 3D Infrared Electric Fireplace Stove with Remote Control, Cinnamon - DFI-5010-03 for $239 at the time of this posting. Tough to give up a real real glowing flame with real flame noise and heat…so captivating!!!!! In summary, would recommend Regal and a knit hat for the 4 degree difference and the longer burn time to enjoy!

Purchased this to pair with a tabletop fire pit- works very well. Know that it is very full so in opening you need to steady on a hard surface while twisting off the cap to prevent spill. It would be recommended to purchase a small, long neck funnel if you were also purchasing a fire pit to aid in the delivery of the fuel. This burns clean, puts off no smoke and is just right for smores.

I've gone through many cases of Regal Flame fuel in the past, which I liked because it didn't have an odor when burnt. That's no longer available, but judging from similarities in the label, and packaging, I think this may be the same stuff. In any case, it seems to be equally odor-free.
