It's something you need to try
Coffee should be used inside a 30 day window from roasting, all beans are different so it is a matter of taste and how long you roast them for. So for me to say they are great it would be based on my taste, so try for yourself and try different roast light, medium dark. I learned and have been adding flavor to my beans now after trying some from a local roaster, could taste the different flavors he put in his beans, now I soak mine for 12 hours in water with a few drops of flavor (32 bottles on Amazon) then dehydrate them for 24 hours before roasting. Something new every week.

Lots of beans to roast to your individual taste.
This is a good amount of good quality green beans that I can roast in small quantities in my little stovetop roaster. I love doing it and saving money on beans that I can roast to my taste.

Good flavor.
I roast my own coffee, so I know what makes a good coffee. This coffee has a great flavor when roasted lightly.

Colombia Excelso
Very easy to roast, even for beginners. Flavor profile at the edge of second crack was Earthy caramel with a sweet finish. Not complex but very good. Decent price, too.

Good Buy
It seemed good. Very little mold. I will buy again.

Great Quality
As a snob about the quality of coffee, I am often very critical about the flavor profiles, but these beans did not disappoint. After roasting and steeping, the coffee is very aromatic and has bright acidity with woodsy and caramel notes. I would suggest keeping the roast on the lighter or medium side and waiting at least 3 days after roasting or the coffee may taste like dirt. Will be buying again.

Tiny substandard beans
These didn't work for me. They are not "supremo" nor "mega" in any way. I personally don't know of any commercial beans that I have used that have been as small as these beans. I tried roasting at light, medium and medium dark. I did not like the flavor profile on any of it. Light roast is an absolute NO with these beans. Very citrusy and nearly too hard to grind. My grinder was definitely suffering when I was grinding the light roast. The darker roast was the best, but it still did not have good flavor. I can buy any organic pre-roasted bean and get a better cup than this stuff.
