Perfect container for gasoline!
Very useful item! We actually have two of them now, and it’s honestly easier to move gasoline from here to lawn mowers (at least, that’s what we use it for) than the red gasoline containers. It’s easy to transport with its wheels. When it’s full, it is a bit heavy, but absolutely manageable (I’m a petite person). Does slightly leak while pumping gas, but that may be user error too. I just think the fastener isn’t as tight as it could be. Smells slightly of gas right after using, but otherwise does not have a strong odor.

Emergency Gas Reserve
We wanted to have an emergency gas reserve and found the 6 five gallon containers made of plastic get small leaks over time. We hoped this home "gas Station pump" would be our answer. Well, it is. Easy to follow assembly instruction. Hand Crank pumping action is effective and works during a power outage. Holds enough gas for two fill ups of our car. On Amazon, for about $20, we found and bought an outdoor smoker cover that fits perfectly and keeps the "gas pump" cover from the hot Florida sun.We are very pleased with the price, the quality of the build, and the easy of use. And we know, in any emergency, we will have enough gas to fuel our car for quite a while. If you want to have a home gas reserve, do not hesitate to but tone of these.

Low quality
I bought two of these red tanks and both of the wheels sprayed apart after I filled them up at the gas station. Very low quality would not buy again.

What I expected for the money
I live in Florida and after being without power for 2 weeks after Hurricane Ian realized I needed more fuel on hand but storing that much fuel safely was of concern so I bought two of these. They’re sturdy and seem built well for my purpose. Not sure how well they’d hold up to daily use.The welds are quick and dirty and the threads were all painted over making assembly a little difficult, especially on the handle. I’m pretty sure I cross threaded one side of both handles because I couldn’t get it lined up otherwise. Given that it shouldn’t ever need to come apart it’s not really a problem, but it was a little annoying.Even with the front wheel screwed all the way in, they both lean back a few degrees. I’m not sure if that’s a feature or a bug, but the result is the fuel gauge not to reading accurately unless you pick it up off the rear wheels, something that’s less than convenient when full.As I expect these to hang out in my garage in case of a prolonged power outage, they’re fine (far better than a bunch of red cans!) and I’d recommend them for light home use. For commercial or farm use, you may want something sturdier.

Do a few things before assembly
There is a YouTube video that shows this being assembled and has a few tips before use. One is to smooth the pump vanes and to seal the float where it is welded to the gage arm. I did those before use. I have no issues. The pump works great and it doesn't leak. Easy to move around. Also, it works great to suck fuel out of portable 5 gallon containers rather than using the fill port. Makes fuel transfer very clean. I am very happy with it.

Check the tank before you fill!!
The reviews are right. There is stuff in the bottom of the tank when you get it. I tried to fish them all out but couldn't. I ended up putting a fuel filter inline with this unit as well. I am sure glad I did. The filter collected what I couldn't get out! I am sure happy I did the fuel filter. Otherwise that crud would have ended up in my fuel tank! Be aware that the threads on this unit are fine threads. To adapt a fuel filter might require adapting fine and course threads with a rubber hose.I also found the wooden handle on the unit felt stiff. I took it off and greased it. I was worried it would brake trying to crank the pump.

Good product
Only been in use for a month or so. Assembly wasn't too bad. Filled it up to capacity, easy to maneuver, pump seems to work well. Seems sturdy and well made.

Excellent trusty product
Exactly as advertised in function and looksIve had Mine for 2.5 Yeats now it had been dropped out of a truck ,knocked over, hit with a tractor, rolled off a curb, and really abused overall and still works like it should. It was a little more when I bought then others but we'll worth the extra couple of bucks!
