Easy to use and make ice balls - just no "Large" - I would consider the sizemedium. The balls are only about 1" diameter. So need 2 per drink.

I host very frequent and these come in way better than regular ice cubes or a bag of ice. The trays appear durable after many uses. Everyone loves the sphere of ice and it lasts longer. Extracting the frozen product isn't hard, just a little finesse and body heat makes them release fairly easy. Filling them is a breeze. If you're not looking for fancy and inexpensive, go this route.

It's a little tricky to get it to make perfectly round balls, but in my first 2 fillings of the two trays I've easily gotten 4/6 either perfect or close enough cubes per tray. The directions talk about pouring off excess, but if you fill to the line level and put the lid on without trying to clean up, it comes out better. The box for holding the ice is great while you freeze another set. The balls are a little smaller than some I've had or get in restaurants, but I like the size for my drinks.Removing the ice from the tray is difficult because it's almost completely rigid. Keeping it out for a couple minutes lets it melt a little and they come out more easily.The tongs are useless. They don't help to remove the ice, they can't pick up a ball from the box, they are pointless.For $10 it is a good value.

It takes some time getting used to it but the ice balls are perfectly round once you get the hang of it.

These molds are ok, they're a bit smaller than I expected but still a good size. Easy to fill but difficult to pop-out. The tray is hard plastic & doesn't bend easily to remove like regular ice trays. If you have arthritis or limited strength and movement in your hands I wouldn't recommend, otherwise they're ok. I do like that they come with a small ice bin to store the ice.
