Sound distortion issues
I bought this MP3 player some time ago. But, aside from loading music onto it and checking that it worked okay, I have not used it properly until now.Somehow, lazily, it seems easier and quicker to use our usually very competent phone music players! But, starting to use it properly today, I have immediately found an unpleasant tinny and rattly distortion on the 'rock' equaliser setting that, comparing it with the same headphones and using my phone player to identify the source, I just do not get - and on any phone equaliser setting I try to recreate this distortion on.The music is not being played too loudly, either. It seems to be only in the 'rock' setting so far as I have tried - but simply cannot be listened to. So the player will be 'retired'.I only offer this, as if I had properly compared sound quality with my other music mediums at the time, and selected a bassy track to use, I would have returned it as either poor, or maybe faulty performance. For those who love quality sound with crisp treble and controlled bass, I think this player - though a nice ipod-reminding metal-cased unit - may have some limitations. That said, it may simply be my own unit.

good playback poor screen
i absolutely love my mp3 it took a while to figure out how to get album covers on it however the screen has multiple lines on the top of it ive had it less than a month so not happy about that however i do not know how it was caused as i keep it in a hardcase to make sure its not damaged but a part from that i would 100% recommed i use it 24/7 and i barely have to charge it

Super player
Great player for playing music off line. Easy to up load. Great battery life when used with headphones.

Not too bad but let down by software
Battery life is amazing...controls are basic ...easily scuffed...and random unexplained skipping of tracks a few times every e.g. 20 uses.

I feel cheated, poor performance in all areas
There's not many things that I instantly don't like but this is the exception....I hate it.I'm sure the bodywork is good, it's got a fair weight to it and the metal edge is nice, but that's where the good things endIt's got very dated firmware where searching for tracks in folders is near impossible. Yes, there's a 'folder' option on the main screen but it doesn't understand a-z organisation (it's Chinese and they always suffer from the English alphabet organisation), which means folders numbered 01, 02 through to 099 plus normally written titles come up with A's first then 01, 10, 11,12 etc, then numbers in order up to 7's then letters followed by the 8's and other numbers. It doesn't get much better when playing a folder. I have mostly audio books and it plays all the 1's first, bypassing 2, 3, 4 etc, (it ignores a 0 at the start) so long books are played well out of orders.Buttons are very poor. The touch buttons on the front either don't recognise the input or apply multiple inputs, which is very annoying.Would love to review the speaker as others reviewed it as tinny and quiet, but it doesn't work. I found an option in the settings to turn it on and off, but neither get it to work. There's a pair of earphones in the pack, but I have Monster ones, but sound comes out 'poppy' like it's an old fashioned player, but swapping to a Sony MP3 (that keeps crashing, hence buying a new player) it sounds much better - so it's the player performance rather than the headphones.I can't comment on battery life as I haven't used it for long and I used a micro SD card so never connected it a laptop to transfer files. So, if you want to poorly listen to music that's not organised correctly and plays out of order with an interface that may or may not recognise your finger, then this is for you.If not, but anything else.

Awful
Not for me. I've been buying agptek for years and have 2 x mp3 players one for garden and DIY (usually covered in paint) and a second one for travelling with as tablets and phones don't last long playing music.. I recently updated one of my old style mp3 player which broke. I updated to the smaller 32g model AO2t.. with the centre which clicks..... I thought I would update my second player to a Bluetooth one at the same time so ordered this. Looks gorgeous, nice and big to hold in hand... But useless...... And I'm comparing this side by side with the black smaller model I bought a few days ago... This one seems to have no control over sensitivity of touch areas and after 4 stressful hours of it always skipping over whichever menu items I wanted. It wasn't just my touch, others tried and it would always shoot off to strange menu items and always returned to where I never choose in the first place... After always going back to 'Record a radio station transmission' function (which didn't work anyway and neither did the tuning in of stations) I had enough, packaged this up and returned it today, 18 hours after it was delivered.. Been using this brand of players since 2008 but Hated this with a vengeance..
