As someone with leukemia, I'm VERY careful about what I put on my skin since everything gets absorbed. This is the cleanest sunscreen that actually works. I live in SoCal and am in the sun alot. I never burn with this on, unless I haven't reapplied it in over 5 hours. I used it on my toddler. It rubs in great, not greasy, and the white cast is so minimal. You can't avoid that with mineral sunscreen and using chemical sunscreen is way worse than a little vanity. I used to use SunBum, but once I read their ingredients are absorbed toxic chemicals that stay in your body for months and months, I had to switch. It's so messed up how SunBum says they are "safe" but its totally BS. Use this Sky and Sol one - you won't regret it.

As a natural red head with very fair skin who burns easily, I was skeptical after growing up using chemical filled sprays and creams layered and still getting burnt. But after camping and spending tons of time outside in direct sunlight by the water, this stuff works so well! I've been swapping for cleaner ingredients and this is exactly that! It even worked better than traditional sunscreen sprays and creams! I applied it 1 time to my face and then proceeded to sit next to the water for a few hours with my arms and feet/ankles exposed to the sun without any protection and while my arms and ankles and feet definitely got burnt, my face and ears and neck did not!!! Not even the slightest bit! This will forever be a staple for me and likely my future kiddos!! Job well done to the creators of this product!!

Absolutely love this from sky &sol too (also love their moisturizing lotion). I was looking for a clean spf (having been a popular spray brand user) and learning about all of the ingredients and how they impact our bodies. Start with a small amount at first as it goes on white and if you have a big glob of it (like I was used to doing with store bought ones) it takes a while to absorb. I start with a small amount and it can cover a decent surface area. And it works great….used it on our last beach vacation and am buying more for our next one!

LOVE this sunscreen. I’m always worried about the ingredients in most sunscreens for my kids/baby and love that this is such clean ingredients. It was easy to apply and rubbed in well. There will be a slight whit-ish hue left behind, but it didn’t bother me. It felt good and absorbed well, instead of leaving your skin feeling all greasy and gross, it felt like a nice moisturizer. My kids (1, 3, and 5yrs) put up less of a fight with this than they have in the past with others, so that was also a win. I took off a star because it’s SO expensive! I didn’t realize how small the bottle was so for $30 it didn’t seem like much. We went through the whole thing in 2 days of the beach and pool. Unfortunately the good stuff is always so expensive!

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used! No smell, no chemicals. Kept us from getting burnt even on the beach in Florida. It can be hard get off your skin ( which is probably why it works so well.) You will need to scrub pretty hard to get it off your skin. It is pricey but well worth it! Great product, will be buying more for next year!

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. It truly protects the skin from burning, it is also a moisturizer and not oily at all. I have very fair skin and used this sunscreen while under extreme heat while traveling for a week, and didn’t burn at all.

I had high expectations for this product because of all the hype I've seen and all the great ingredients (for which I gave 3 stars). I washed my face and applied a small amount of the product. It feels very stiff and pulls the skin when rubbing it in, it does not rub in, it sits on top and feels very thick. I first noticed how sticky it is when I tried to wash it off the palms of my hands. I washed my hands 3 times and still felt it on my hands. I wear glasses and normally have to adjust them, when adjusting them with this product on my skin my glasses (where they rest on the bridge of my nose) stuck and pulled my skin. After wearing this product for a couple hours my skin still felt sticky, like tacky glue. It felt like I'd smeared bacon fat or vaseline on my skin. I've recently been on a journey to replace toxic products I've been duped into using and I had such high hopes for Sky & Sol.

I rarely write a review for any product but feel this one is a winner. I’ve tried many mineral based sunscreens but this one is by far the best. The one I had settled on previously was sheer enough to hide the white with enough rubbing, but didn’t actually rub in. It left a greasy film on the surface of the skin and a white residue on my car and home upholstery and other things it touched. It also was difficult to wash off, needing vigorous scrubbing with a washcloth and soap. Sky and Sol actually rubs in to your skin and doesn’t rub off onto other things you don’t want it on. The white disappears in half the time and it washes off clean with way less scrubbing. Still, it stays put and doesn’t run into your eyes when playing sports and provides great, long lasting protection from the sun without the health risks associated with the chemical based sunscreens. I’d give it five stars if the price was more reasonable, but it’s still the only one I’ll use because it’s that much better.
