O.K but no on/off switch
Perhaps I should point out that I am 76 and living in a pet free flat, so this is as close as I can get to owning a cat !!! Mechanism gives a quiet purring sound, as it breaths. No on/off switch, which is a pity. Only way is to remove battery. Just have to see how long it lasts.

Can offer comfort and companionship to dementia sufferers
I bought this for a 95 year old lady with dementia and she loves it. She always had ginger cats and lost her last one many years ago. This furry ‘toy’ gives her hours of comfort and companionship and as soon as it stopped ‘breathing’ she realised and quickly mentioned it to one of her carers. We hastily replaced the batteries and all was well again! The batteries lasted for a full eight months. This truly was, money well spent.

Breathing kitten
I ought this item for my Aunt who has dementia and lives in a nursing home. When it arrived my granddaughters loved it, which was a positive. My Aunt did like it and the breathing action is cute. The only negative thing I would say is it's not very cuddly. It's very firm to the touch but it does look very cute.

Cute breathing belly.
Awesome quality. Great breathing little tummy. My mum has early dementia and is unable to have pets now. This little gem pleases her so much.

Not huggable and soft
Described as huggable and soft but it is not. It is rock hard with a thin cover of faux fur. Very disappointing and expensive.

Visually not bad, huggable no.
The toy is really not soft or huggable but quite stiff.There is no switch to turn the breathing off, and you have to use a screw driver to get at the battery to turn it on or off which is a pain. Unless I find a hidden switch, I shall have to return it.The worst thing is that the instrucions have no English translation.I do not know if I have been sent the older stiffer version or not as there is no button to contact the seller to ask.It is quite good to look at and fairly realistic, the bed and brush are good, but to handle, it is not.

Not huggable or soft
Very disappointing, it looks pretty and breathing works, but if you pick it up it feels like rigor mortis has set in, it is so stiff. No way can you cuddle it, just sits in the corner looking pretty. Would not recommend.
