Impressive and usable display for the price
Pretty impressive for something that costs less than $60. It's a thin, lightweight aluminum slab that provides a reasonably (see below) good image and response time, and basically performs as advertised. No particularly weird design choices or major flaws. No dead or stuck pixels out of the box that I could see with a quick inspection.I want to point out a few things though. I did a quick test with my colorimeter, and of course it's way too blue out of the box. Bumping the green and blue channels down from 50 to about 41 gets it closer to 6500K but not exactly as the controls aren't precise enough. I measured a contrast ratio of about 900:1 after adjustment and fairly mediocre color and gamma accuracy overall. But, again, it's a sub-$60 display, so this isn't a surprise.Another thing is that the matte anti-glare coating is very heavy. The whole picture is noticeably soft and grainy which is probably more noticeable at a higher brightness. This is probably fine for most use cases when it's advertised as "portable", but it's something to be aware of.One other thing I noticed in the OSD is a "FreeSync" option, which is not advertised anywhere and surprised me to find. I can't test if it actually works as I don't have a modern AMD GPU to attach it to. I also don't have the tools for testing input latency or response times. I also didn't test the HDR or speakers as I don't plan to use them.It specifies a 5V 2A power draw on the back and comes with a corresponding USB power adapter and USB cable. However, while testing it with a USB power meter attached, it usually drew about half that, and at a brightness of 29 (which gives 80 nits after color adjustments) it was actually able to be powered from a PC's USB 2.0 port. I would not recommend doing that, but it seems like it would work in a pinch. Also, there's no branding on the chin like it shows in the pictures. The front is totally blank, which is great. The included Type C to Type C cable seems to be a 10Gbps cable, so that's a nice bonus if you want to use it for something else like external storage.Really not a whole lot to complain about at this price point. Would definitely recommend this as a cheap extra display.

Perfect Gift for My Husband
I got this monitor as a Christmas gift for my husband, and I know he’s going to love it! He plans to use it in his office to display his phone screen, and it’s exactly what he needs. The screen is super clear with great colors, and it’s easy on the eyes with the blue light reduction. It’s lightweight, slim, and comes with a magnetic cover that doubles as a stand, so it’s easy to set up and move around. It’s also super versatile—it works with phones, laptops, gaming consoles, and more. The built-in speakers are a nice touch, and there’s even a headphone jack. If he wants, he can mount it with the VESA option, which is great.Overall, it’s a solid, practical giftI got this portable monitor as a Christmas gift for my husband, and I think he’s going to love it! Great-looking, compact screen
I’ve been using this AYY 15.6" portable monitor with my laptop for a few weeks now, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well it performs for the price.First off, the screen looks great. The display is sharp, the colors are vibrant, and it handles documents, video, and light photo editing with no issues. It’s bright enough for indoor use without any glare problems. I wasn’t expecting this level of visual quality from a budget-friendly portable screen, but it definitely delivers. The size is perfect for my setup — compact and lightweight, but still big enough to be useful as a second monitor. I can easily slip it into my laptop bag and take it with me without it feeling bulky. It’s also thin enough to sit neatly next to my main screen without taking up too much desk space. One of my favorite features is the included cover. It’s not just a dust protector — it folds into a stand and holds the screen at a good angle. It attaches magnetically and feels pretty sturdy overall. Another huge plus is that the back of the monitor has VESA mounting holes. I mounted it on a small wall bracket above my desk, and it works great as a vertical screen for coding and reading.Overall, this portable monitor has been a solid addition to my workspace. It looks sleek, performs reliably, and has thoughtful features like the cover and VESA mounting that make it more versatile. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a second screen that’s easy to travel with or wall-mount for extra flexibility.

Wait for a sale if you can
At $60 this is a fantastic monitor - at $100, maybe not so much. It was packed well - a thick, board game styled box with medium stiff foam cushioning the panel itself. beneath the panel is a space for a 2000ma USB power block, USB cables and a mini HDMI to full size HDMI cable. It can be mounted on a monitor stand if it has the 75mm mounting holes. The picture is bright with decent blacks, and nice color. The 2D portion of Performance Test did seem to smear a bit - but I suppose it could do that on any monitor, but I thought I should mention it. I plugged it into the Thunderbolt port on my Thinkpad T480s, and it worked with the single cable - great if you're doing presentations. It also works with some phones and tablets. Sound is usable - mostly. Very tinny, but given the speaker size you can't expect much. Like I said at the start - at $60 this is a FANTASTIC monitor. Right now, it's OK...
