Works great. 2014 Sierra here. Solved all my emission code issues. Performance improved. And as far as transmission. The predominant shuttering issue finally went away keeping it firing all cylinders.

If you want to put the fun back into driving your 5.3 L GM vehicle without it going from eight cylinder to four-cylinder; you’ve got to buy this Mac cylinder plug-in component. It is better than sliced bread. I’m using it on a 2014 Chevy Silverado crew cab 5.3 L engine.. I wish I would have known about it when I bought 2014 Chevy. I believe it will make my engine last a lot longer without all the problems with the cam and lifters breaking down otherwise. It drives like a different truck now, I love it!!!!! Plus it is made by a small US company, made in the USA! It also will not drain your battery. You can leave it plugged in and forget about it. Plus, you can go back to the normal position by just unplugging the component.

I like the fact that the Max Cylinder AFM disabler is American made. It is priced less than its major competitor. It does not drain the battery. The short profile makes it much less intrusive than the other ones available. The pilot light is not bothersome. And it keeps the motor in V8 mode. Time will tell if it also helps prevent transmission failures associated with AFM function, as some folks suggest.

Just plug in and that’s it. Made in USA. No drain on battery and it keeps my sierra out of V4 mode.

The device works great. Fuel consumption increased by 3 gallons. Instead of 18 miles per gallon it is now 15. But that is normal. After all all 8 cylinders are working.
