The lithium battery market has made big inroads in replacing lead acid for golf cart type vehicles. For some reason the lithium manufacturers are stuck at 48 volt. Getting to 72 volt with lithium is a challenge. This is one of the few suppliers that can be combined to reach 72 volt. They provided good information as well as patient with what was likely not so smart questions. The batteries were replacement for AGM in a Polaris GEM which took 6 12 v batteries. The GEM battery compartment is not very user friendly unless sticking to 12 V batterie. Fortunately 3 of these fit in nicely. There is a 72 v alternative which is a single battery. That would also fit nicely but is also considerably more expensive than this combination. Another factor in going with this setup, which is more work to install, is that a single 72 V battery if it goes down is expensive to replace. In this case if a 24 volt goes down one is only replacing a much cheaper battery. Time will tell as to durability and longevity. Have not had a chance to operate GEM as it is a rebuild and after installing the batteries there is an issue with the motor that needs to be rectified. Time will tell as to durability and longevity. So far liking what I see.

I received an email from the seller a few days after ordering and it was explained to me that they could only supply ONE tracking number due to Amazon's limitations on such things for ONE ORDER. I ordered the twin pack. They wanted me to know because only ONE battery might arrive with the other one the next day or so. Well, it turns out they BOTH arrived together on the same day. This indicated that someone with their company realized that if a customer only received one battery, and, they ordered TWO, they might become very concerned that they spent so much money and only received one battery. They wanted me to know that they had to use two tracking numbers but Amazon would not allow for them to use both, so it might look to the customer that only one battery was sent. This, to me, indicates the seller is a forward thinker when it comes to customer service. I was impressed with the weight AND performance, so far. These batteries went to work the same day as they arrived, along with a 24v inverter I ordered elsewhere. These batteries were used right off the bat to supply power to two small refrigerators, fans and lights for about a half a day due to a power outage. They didn't seem to discharge much at all and I was very very happy about that. I have only used 12v systems in the past but these batteries are a game changer to me. I am very pleased with the batteries and how they have performed right out of the box. The weight is very important to me as I am not really interested in any batteries that get to over 50 lbs. I am getting old and as I age I have no interest in moving around very heavy items that require help in moving them. These babies weight just under 40 lbs !! I have seen the negative complaints and I suppose I should feel lucky. I may pick up a few more of these and have two small 24v systems. For those with only 12v experience, try a couple of these with a good 24v inverter and enjoy next lever power performance for your personal needs. Very satisfied here!

Used for my parents emergency back up system and they had two power outages and these batteries worked just fine keeping my folks tv, lights and phone system up and running for over 8 hours.One thing I wish they had was low temp charging cut off, so just be aware of that.Cheers

I have 3 batteries already and they are great, Amazon's payment plan not so much. I selected the 12 month payment plan and was charged the full amout to my credit card. If I could afford the full amount I would not have selected the payment plan.
