Excellent 4K/HDR Splitter for El Gato H60(S) - PS4 Pro & Xbox One X
Two things I have to say right away: (1.) The gofanco Prophecy is an excellent product and (2.)Customer Service is super helpful. I emailed them for stock replenishment and received an email right away. I was able to grab one a few days later. At the time of this review, I saw these starting to show up on ebay at inflated costs. Grab them here while you can.Like other reviews say, this is THE Splitter to get if you are using it with the El Gato HD60(S) for recording/streaming using the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Place the EDID switches to: Pin1 (UP) and Pins 2,3,4 (DOWN) for the El Gato to display properly on the PC @ 1080p 60hz and for the consoles to be viewed in 4k/HDR on your TV. Be sure to go into the settings mode for each console and check that it is displaying 4k w/ HDR. I did not have to use any other splitters like another review mentioned (perhaps because I am using the El Gato HD60S and not the HD60 ?).Also the ibirdie HDMI 4K Ultra HD 2.0 Cables are perfect to use with this product, PS4 Pro + Xbox One X. No signal lost.

Fixed my HDCP errors for Roku
I had an old Roku 3 connect to a standard 1080p HDMI splitter and it worked fine. I upgraded to a Roku Ultra for the better private listening features, I live in a studio, and all of a sudden I had HDCP errors. I found this surposing since I was still only 1080p which should still use HDCP 1.4 and should still be compatible. However, after trouble shooting every other component I narrowed it down to the splitter.I picked up the 4-port version (not the compact one) for $70 and it worked right out of the box. I thought $70 was a bit much, but it is build out of a solid block of aluminum and works great. I don’t mind paying a bit extra for real quality, and that is how this feels.I should also note that I have 1 of my TVs connected with a 50ft active HDMI cable (to a TV in the kitchen), and that works with no issues out of this box.Very impressed with the quality of the product and the details that the company included in both the Amazon listing and with the product. Made me feel comfortable buying this and it has lived up to the expectations.

Very nice splitter. Supported formats depend on what you connect.
The supported formats depend on what kind of screens you attach to the outputs when using the auto edid analysis learning mode on the switch. Here's the results of my testinggear: 2019 nvidia shield tv pro, yamaha RX-A3050, Panasonic TH-65GZ1000U, 1080p TVSplitter set to Auto EDID analysis learning mode.I power cycled the splitter and the nvidia for each test. The nvidia asks you to confirm Dolby vision support when it sees it is supported. You should power cycle the shield so netflix realises Dolby Vision is available after you enable it.You can see a few formats that are supported in the nvidia settings display menu. There are a lot more in the custom menu than the ones it picks for you. These are the default modes it chose for me. But there are a lot more it will support for lower resolutions etc.Highest supported formats as seen by the Shield:Shield -> splitter -> 4k TV:Dolby vision and HDR10 supported at 4k 60/59.940/50/23.976Shield -> splitter -> 4k TV on one output, HD tv on another:No HDR, 4k 59.940,60,50 - you can simultaneously watch HD on the HD TV and 4K on the 4K TV.If you power off one of the TVs it stays the same, no screen blankingShield -> splitter -> Yamaha -> 4k TV.No HDR or dolby vision. The Receiver doesn't support them.4K Hz: 59.960, 60 50, 23.976

Using to mirror computer to different rooms in my house.
Currently have this set up to mirror my computer from my office to my bedroom, living room, and basement. It works as intended and I haven't had any major issues. For reference, it works farther than the 32ft in the specifications. The computer is connected to the splitter over a 6ft cable. From there, my living room tv is connected with a 25ft cable, basement with 35ft (tested to ensure it worked but not continuously active as of yet), and my bedroom with a 50ft cable (fiber optic hdmi, came with a booster but seems to work without it).The living room and bedroom TVs are used daily and I haven't had any major issues over the past 3+ weeks. The cables are run through the walls and ceilings. Then I just use a wireless keyboard/mouse to control the computer from those rooms. I initially tried doing this without the splitter but windows only lets you mirror your screen once, the rest must be extensions. Extending the screen works great when they're side by side but makes using your computer in different rooms difficult if each room is it's own screen extension because you can't see what's happening in those other rooms. Anyways, this device solved my problem and allowed my set up to function as intended.
