Worked a charm. Don’t be alarmed by the images of the product that say it has no pigment. Like with other hair dyes it takes a but to oxidize. Mine was a touch chunky at first but nothing some stirring didn’t fix. Viva Violet was my color and it is VIOLET. It’s a lovely dark color. Be sure to wipe spills quickly. It will not hesitate to stain anything that looks at it funny.

Easy to apply and loved the color. Love that it also doesn't Faith away so fast last time I dye it was in April and the color has Faith away just alittle so now in July I'm retouching it again.

I am so obsessed with how this color turned out. Im giving 5/5 because I am super happy with it, but realistically, if you were going for the color in the product photos, it’s not close.However, this is the ginger of my dreams that I thought I’d have to use bleach for and possibly go to a salon.The smell isn’t as strong as other dyes I’ve used in the past, and it didn’t stain my hands too bad either (I am too lazy to wear gloves). Like sometimes the smell lingers kinda strong for a while even after washing, rinsing and styling, but so far this has a pretty subtle smell, and what is there doesn’t smell chemically at all, just nice clean fresh smell.I’d say that it came out pretty even too, no blotches or anything, and my hair doesn’t feel any drier than it would with any other dye either, so no complaints there.I bought the Wella 30 cream developer too, just to be safe and get the absolute intended color. Left it in for 35 minutes.My hair color is naturally a level 5, and this dye lightened it quite a bit. Much more than I expected, could be because of my hair texture and porosity, but I’m not mad at all.I’ll be switch from HiColors to this from now on, I couldn’t be happier with the color and quality, despite it not being what was advertised. Use ruby red and my hair is dark ! My roots are light brown/grey and it turned the top of my head orange and I have to work the next day before I can fix this mess. My hair was a very dark auburn and it’s like it bleached it orange ! Do not get this product! Doesn’t come off skin like a cheap box color does you. Professional products always wipe right off. So now my ears and face is orange also
