I had a real cool Dakota pocket watch with carabiner clip. Cost me about forty bucks...and $30 a pop to get a new battery installed.This is the first electric watch I ever installed a new battery in - super easy. No jeweler tools - or jeweler - needed. It comes with a spare, I opened up the back with my mini Swiss Army Knife and replaced the battery in five minutes.It takes dirt cheap 377 1.5 volt batteries, available here. Duracells about $3 each, or generic 10 packs for $5.99 - can't beat that!

There's a no smartwatch rule in my workplace. I don't always remember my wristwatch, so my pocketwatch has come in handy many times.Something about pulling it out of my pocket makes me feel like a man who lived in a bygone era. My great-grandfathers carried pocketwatches- hardly anyone does these days.It's very easy to read and keeps excellent time. For the money, it's an unbeatable value.The size is just right- it fits into the change compartment of my uniform slacks. I hardly notice it in my pocket. I do plan to purchase a longer chain, though.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I've dropped several of the more expensive ones, washed one, and needed to save money, while still enjoying a pocket watch.

Too small, I thought it was larger.

The hour hand is out of alignment after only a month. The hour hand is pointing half way between hours when the minute hand is pointed at the 12. It also gains about 4 minutes per week. It was cheap, so I'm not going to say it wasn't worth the money, but I do regret the purchase.
