This product worked extremely well for me. It takes the anxiety away and you are ready for sleep in about an hour after taking.

I ordered these Pure Naturals Valerian Root 500 mg 120 Veggie Capsules Supplement | Non-GMO | Gluten Free | Made in USA, for myself, to add too my daily supplements. In my opinion the price of this, when compared to what is available, seems a little high. The product is fresh with a use by date of 08/2026 and is made in the USA. I am 72 years old and not an expert on supplements, but for me, I find they work. i have used it, taking a 3-capsule dose before bedtime, and can say it had no bad taste nor did it upset my stomach. I did not wake up feeling sluggish or groggy so that was a good thing, but I did wake up several times during the night, but this is a product that will need to be used for a few weeks, so I can get the full results of its effectiveness on me. I will update.

These are NOT Valerian root. I've taken Valerian every night for years and it's always knocked me out in a few minutes. Valerian is light brown and smells kinda like dirty feet. These mystery capsules are green, they smell like green tea, and after taking them I was wide awake! They kept me up for about 4 hours!

I'm not sure if this product actually helps me sleep or not, but it is one the most vile smelling and tasting things i have ever experienced. I would think there would be some way to make it less repulsive.

These are capsules that are easy to swallow. Does have a smell to them but if you’ve ever smelled natural valerian root, it has a smell that is just like it. This is a good supply, good glass bottle and I sleep better because it’s a higher dosage. This also helps my husband feel less restless.

Personally, I take Valerian Root every evening, and for me, it seems to have a calming effect. I'll let others discuss the health benefits of of Valerian, which is beyond my expertise, but given the potency and number of capsules, this product seems a good value for the money.
