Superior French Press
Product designer-engineer here, my review after 10 weeks of daily use. I love it!I use this method to make one or two cups of coffee each day at home where I work. After breaking too many dozens of the common glass-in-metal-cage type of press I bought this all-metal variant. No turning back now for me -- it's a step change, so much better in every way. In my opinion.> It's looks are clean and simple in an attractive mid-century Scandinavian way.> Made completely from stainless steel with no plastic parts, zero; it's unbreakable and you'd have to hurl it at a brick wall to even dent it, probably.> Unlike the traditional glass kind, this one is so quick and easy to unscrew, shake out and rinse after every use, something I was too lazy to do before -- with grimy consequences.> The jug has a double wall so my coffee is agreeably hot when I pour it after about four minute's standing.> My old-style glass cafetieres where too easy to tip over; this one is safely and firmly planted.> Design and manufacture are top class and the fit and finish are excellent, in my example at least.> It's just a joy to use and, to me, looks extremely cool.> The brand name and logo are convincingly scandi-nordic -- a smart move.> Great value at the price, nice packaging and excellent service. So that's my experience, my opinion.

Does the job wonderfully
I like the price and the style as well, it's surprisingly light and makes coffee as well as a glass one but it's unbreakable! It's insulated to a degree, which is also a bonus, didn't last all day of course, but enough for twenty minutes later and the coffee is still hot.Looks well constructed, cans with an extra metal filter which is nice. Ought to keep on going for a long time. Not sure what the people leaving reviews about metal on metal scratching. I mean it is metal on metal, but it's hardly nails on a blackboard pain level 😁

Almost perfect 🙂
One star off for being noisy when pushing filter up&down- scratchy metal noise - probably a filter just a tiny bit too big.Nevertheless, the rest is great - coffee tastes good, keeping hot for a while so once having a cuppa another is brewing & waiting as long as it takes you to enjoy the first one! 🙂Very easy to clean, looks lovely.

Sturdy
Retains the heat and great value for money! I accidentally broke my previous glass one but know I don’t have any worries as this is very sturdy and easy to use! The filter is great. Very happy with the purchase

A faultless coffee maker.
I've had many single cup glass coffee makers that have all succumb to either the plastic breaking or the glass smashing - they don't last forever. At just over £20 this is a bargain and it should outlast me. The temperature is just right - leave the boiling water to rest for a bit before you pour it in. A review further down has mentioned about the coffee "spitting out" - this will be purely down to their grind. If it's too powdery and fine it will clog the press and naturally the water has nowhere to go! Remember, these types of coffee makers require medium to coarse. Most ground coffees are fine. I've found the lavazza pre packaged coffee (the one in the brick shape) is far too fine. Grind your own if you can - the melitta burr grinder on here is great and get your beans in the biggest bag you can afford - it's far better value. But overall I'm very happy with this purchase, it's super easy to clean (just wash it out) and it looks pretty good too! Good equipment + good beans = a good coffee!

My beloved cafetière.
I needed a cafetière that wouldn’t break, since I seemed to be able to mow through the glass varieties far too often. This cafetière is not only absolutely solid, but is elegant AF. Its silhouette is very pleasing to the eye, and the colour is gorgeous. It’s a double wall construction, so it keeps your coffee hot for ages too. I totally adore this piece and am over the moon with it. The only down side is that after having owned it for a few months now, I have found that the finish can get quite banged up if you don’t treat it well. However, that takes nothing away from how tough the overall construction is.

Attractive and easy to clean, but...
The lid is not as sealed as it might. The shape of the lid is such that there's one side designed to align with the pouring spout. There is, however, a very visible gap past the spout into the main cavity when the lid/spout should be 'closed' which means that you can still spill/pour and will also mean there is thermal loss happening. An attractive, easy to clean (and not easy to break like the glass cafetieres).
