So much easier than traditional manuka honey!
as a paraplegic, i have accidentally hurt myself several times over the past 14 years. my latest wounds are from hot water in the bath. I had used manuka honey before on pressure wound on my heel and foot, but it was a very sticky, messy application. i found these by accident (THANK YOU, AMAZON!!!) when reordering foam dressings. These are fabulous!!! You can cut them to fit your wound, place them where you need them, and then apply your bandages or dressings. i gave 4 stars on adhesion, as they really don't stick on their own, but that isn't a problem--it means you can reposition them if needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Smells so good. The honey is calming.
I wish they offered a variety pack for these. The 4 x 4 is huge and the 2 x 2 is still a little too big for smaller scrapes. Having a variety of 1 x 1, 2 x 2 and 3 x 5's or something like that would be nice. I always feel like I am wasting the excess. I found it difficult to pull the backing off because it doesn't have a very easy pull tab on the covering. I dropped the guaze trying to peel the backing off because it was hard to separate the layers. I think it is a little expensive for the product, but the healing benefits of honey are amazing, so I like that this product does exist.

Best if your broke.
Look, I'm an RN with tons of wound care experience. I have had insane success healing wounds with medical-grade Maneuca honey when dressed appropriately and changed at appropriate intervals. I had a burn over 50% of a baby animal's body on my farm. By all accounts, he should not have survived.I was pretty financially strapped at the time, so I had to get these super cheap dressings. They are not ideal. They are literally the thinnest single-layer of gauze that I have ever seen. It had Honey on it though and that's what I needed. I do NOT recommend letting these go for 24 hours. There simply isn't enough honey. The gauze will stick to the wound.

Seems to be too little medicine to do anything.
It looks like gauze dipped in honey. Not much there to work.

Organic Healing
Manuka honey is touted as having antibacterial, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. So, I was glad when I ran across these gauze dressings that had manuka honey. There are 10 4x4 inch gauzes in the box and each are individually wrapped. You don't need scissors to open the packs, you just grab the two top sides and spread the package open. The honey gauze has a protective film of paper over the honey side and is easy to peel off when you need to use it.You can cut the gauze to size before peeling the protective film. The gauze is sticky as it is REAL honey on the gauze. It is sticky on your skin, but not enough to stay on by itself. You will need something else to keep it in place (adhesive bandage, gauze wrap, etc.) over the wound.I am very satisfied with these gauzes and they will be a part of all of my emergency med kits.

Makes a mess!
They are sticky and create a lot of mess. I wouldn't purchase them again.

Good gauze dressing
These gauze dressings are easy to use and seem to work well. They are treated with medical-grade manuka honey, which is known for its antimicrobial and wound healing properties. They are non-adherent, so you'll need some kind of bandage or wrap to secure them over the wound. These come individually wrapped in a sterile packet. They are good to have in the home and portable first-aid kits. A little pricey but probably worth it for the antimicrobial and healing properties. For around $2.70 per 4" x 4" dressing, they are a decent value.

Great to keep in professional kitchens!
These Manuka Honey wound dressings are incredible! I brought this box into work and with many chefs and cooks working together for an event, oven burns were bound to happen!Instead of messy ointment, I asked one of my cooks to try this and he agreed - Single pouch tore open easily and the sticky mesh type dressing went on his forearm before being wrapped in gauze and then tape.He said it felt soothing and the burn didn't feel hot or blister as it was expected to.The 4"x4" size was perfect for the diagonal oven burn on his forearm and while there might have been 'extra' dressing, I was more than happy to give him the whole patch to assure he was thoroughly covered.
